The commitment of employees to the organization where they work is very important to achieve high levels of performance, but it is necessary for them to have an optimal work environment that allows them to develop their work and personal development. In this sense, the relevance of the behavior of individuals in organizations is highlighted as a determining element in their performance.
Job rotation according to Chiavenato (2000), "is used to define the fluctuation of personnel between the organization and its environment; this means that the exchange of people is defined by the volume of people entering the organization and those leaving it.".

In modern organizations, their work context has evolved, from situations where what was important was the efficient production system, the organizational structure, the equipment of new and novel equipment, to a position today, where individuals are the most important thing in organizations.
In this order, Piñango, (2010), points out that "organizations owe their organizational performance to the contribution of each of the individuals who work there, that this is the time of the people and they make the difference between one company and another". Nowadays, people are the ones who make the difference in organizations, in terms of their success, although it has always been that way.
It is worth mentioning that a good or bad organizational climate will have positive or negative consequences for the organization, defined by the perception that the members have of the organization. Among the positive consequences are achievement, affiliation, power, productivity, satisfaction, adaptation and innovation; among the negative consequences we can point out maladaptation, high turnover, absenteeism, demotivation, low innovation, low productivity.
To conclude we can mention that the performance of workers is very important for organizations and through job rotation, a boost has been achieved for them, achieving in some cases greater motivation, dedication and commitment to the organization and a better working environment.
