This photo was taken last year in the North-Western part of Argentina. We are on our way to Las Salinas Grandes which is a spectacular salt flat located in this remote corner of Argentina, 3350 m above sea level. It boasts some of the most spectacular scenery you can imagine. On the way we took time to stop different place. The stripe of white in the background is the salt flat. We were there in the wet season which is the time when it is flooded. This is the time to visit, if you wish to see the reflections and mirror images on the surface of the flats. My son is the photographer on the photo.

Thanks. The road was a fantstic ride itself and the salt flat was jus out of this world! i was wet which made awesome reflections on the surface.
