The ponds are stocked. It's something we do here. :)) If you have a pond, it must need to be stocked.
Kidding, of course, but, even the pond right across the street from my house is stocked. It is a beautiful piece of land and if I am not over at the Shore House, where they have their own place at the house, this is second best and close to me. It was my daughter that came with me. They are the primary caregivers to them. I am just along for the fun. :))
