Fue parte de mis últimos trabajos en el instituto usando una técnica llamado gouache... ¿qu? - ¿que fue de mis estudios universitarios? bueno, la crisis venezolana, más que el director se mudara de país, la falta de atención, amenazas de cierre... una cosa llevo a la otra y ahora estoy en Argentina tomándome un mate en medio de un invierno curenteniano.
It was part of my last jobs in high school using a technique called gouache... What happened to my university studies? Well, the Venezuelan crisis + the director moving out of the country + the lack of attention + threats of closure... one thing led to another and now I'm in Argentina having a Mate (an argentinan kind of tea) in the middle of a Curentenian winter.

Este sera el proceso mas corto que mostrare por esta semana... la concentración en mis pinturas me hace olvidar la importancia de tomar fotos en estos casos... upps
This will be the shortest process I will show for this week... the concentration on my paintings makes me forget the importance of taking pictures in these cases... upps
Comencé con bloques de sombras; al igual que en los dibujos, es importante empezar con las bases para luego ir con los complejos. Pensar en bloquees en lugar de lineas es de mejor ayuda a la hora pintar figuras tridimensionales.
I started with shadow blocks; just like in the drawings, it's important to start with the basics and then go to the complexes. Thinking about blocks instead of lines is better when painting three-dimensional figures.
Versión 1 casi completa... digo casi ya que era necesario agregar mas detalle al pelaje, el proceso iba a bien a este ritmo y se podía dar esa sensación esperada.
Version 1 almost complete... I say almost because it was necessary to add more detail to the coat, the process was going well at this pace and one could get that expected feeling.
Lo que más me encanta de la técnica gouache es el poder usar un tono blanco tanto para brillos como para arreglar errores. Entre todas las técnicas aguadas es con la que más he disfrutado practicar.
What I love most about the gouache technique is being able to use a white tone for both shines and to fix mistakes. Among all the gouache techniques, it is the one I have enjoyed practicing the most.
