Today is International Plastic Bag Free Day. A day dedicated to waste prevention.	Heute ist der Internationale Plastiktütenfreie Tag. Ein Tag im Zeichen der Müllvermeidung.

Since 2011, this day always takes place on July 3. The emergence of this day was probably an action day in Catalonia and the term "Zero Waste" is then as Entstanden. I think the exact date has no real reason, because plastic bags are found all year round in rough quantities in the environment.	Seit 2011 findet dieser Tag immer am 03. Juli statt. Die Entstehung dieses Tages war wohl ein Aktionstag in Katalonien und der Begriff "Zero Waste" ist damals als Entstanden. Ich denke das genaue Datum hat keinen wirklichen Grund, denn Plastiktüten sind das ganze Jahr über in rauen Mengen in der Umwelt zu finden.

There are now many alternatives to plastic bags that I also use myself. Cloth bags, for example, have the advantage that you can wash and reuse them. A planning of the purchase is also already a possibility to avoid plastic bags. If I know what I want to buy, the appropriate packaging comes with me already in the backpack.	Es gibt mittlerweile viele Alternativen zur Plastiktüte die ich auch selbst verwende. Stoffbeutel z.B. haben den Vorteil, dass man diese Waschen und wiederverwenden kann. Eine Planung des Einkaufes ist auch schon eine Möglichkeit Plastiktüten zu vermeiden. Wenn ich weiß, was ich einkaufen will, kommt die entsprechende Verpackung bei mir schon in den Rucksack.

In addition, there are now many "without packaging stores" in almost every major city. And even if you forget your bag or glasses, there are usually some on site to fill the purchase there. Try it out.	Dazu gibt es mittlerweile auch schon viele "ohne Verpackung Läden" in fast jeder größeren Stadt. Und auch wenn man mal seine Tasche oder Gläser vergessen hat, sind dort meisten welche vor Ort, um den Einkauf dort einzufüllen. Versucht es mal aus.

Plastic bags and single-use plastic have fortunately already been banned in many countries. But they are still used too much and thrown away. Certainly a holiday to have on your radar.	Plastiktüten und Einwegplastik ist zum Glück schon in vielen Ländern verboten worden. Aber sie werden trotzdem noch zu viel verwendet und weggeschmissen. Sicher ein Feiertag, den man auf dem Schirm haben sollte.

Einen "Unverpacktladen" gibt es sogar bei uns "auf dem Land". Also offiziell ist es ne Stadt, ich würde es aber nicht als solche bezeichnen. Höchstens ein "Städtle" 😅. Wir sind dort öfters drin. In dem Laden gibt es unverpackte sowie verpackte Lebensmittel, alles aber BIO und sehr vieles davon von regionalen Erzeugern. Daher ist auch alles tendenziell etwas teurer und das können oder wollen sich viele nicht leisten!? Also wir gehen dort auf jeden Fall gerne einkaufen und einige andere auch. Der Laden kommt seit seiner Neueröffnung Anfang 2021 gut an.

Ja die Preise sind schon höher. Dafür kaufe ich aber nur das ein, was ich wirklich verbrauche ohne zu der nächst größeren Verpackung zu greifen.
Seit Corona, gibt es bei unserem Laden in der nähe eine gefühlte Abwanderung zu Aldi und Co. Die Besitzer sind ganz schön am kämpfen.
