...next level crypto stuff...

in GEMS4 years ago

Last weeks something quite interesting is happening in the land of launchpads. Earlier I've written about Tenset (post), therefore I won't repeat what I already wrote other than that one of the services of Tenset is a launchpad. A launchpad that is not launching too many projects (they launched three projects since it started about a year ago), though the projects they launched did very very well.

Now, their fourth project is in the making, ie preparations are underway to get the next project (token) launched. Will that one do well? Who knows. But that's not the most interesting part of what I'm witnessing.

...While BTC is not going places, Alts are more or less undecided, the Alt Tenset is definitely going places! I guess (well, it's more than a guess) it's because of the Tenset launchpad construct. To be able to participate in the presales for the newest project, a subscription needs to be acquired. Based on historical performances of token launches, such subscription is in high demand. Added to that, the maximum amount of subscriptions is coming to an end. I mean, the maximum number that will ever exist. 10k max, of which 9.750 are already taken. In a few days (a little less than a week), the last 250 subscriptions will be for grabs. Since the last batches of 250 subscriptions did sell out in like minutes, I suspect the very last batch will be sold in less time than that.

I find it quite interesting how peeps are finding their ways to Tenset. It started with the launch of their previous project 'Everdome'. Before Everdome, the Tenset launchpad subscriptions were not in high demand. Though many peeps did know about it. I suppose peeps thought the service was too expensive and/or too risky to commit funds for a whole year whilst not knowing how many project launches will happen, the allocation algo's are unknown (they depend per project) and its profitability can't be predicted. Even though Tenset's first project launch 'Metahero' did very very well for the presales peeps (30 to 50x or something from presales to current market value). The second one did quite well as well, with a peak of about 30x. The third launch, Everdome, broke all records. With a maximum of about 100x reached in the first week, with today's market value it's still something like 40x for the presales peeps.

A subscription is not cheap at all: When no Tenset tokens in the pocket, purchasing the required 4750 tokens from the market will set you back 20k USD. That said, the launch of Everdome gave the Tenset participants a (paper)return of more than 60k USD. Paper because usually only the first 10% of the granted tokens are liquid whilst the rest it locked with a release schedule over half a year to a year.

New Launch: MMA FAME 👬

The question is, will the new project be as successful? I have no idea, to be honest. It's an MMA organisation from Poland. Aiming to export their eco-system to other countries. They created some cool concepts. Contracted fighters will be paid (partially) with their token, these fighters are required to promote the service and token, tickets for future MMA events will be paid with the new token, NFTs will be created for the fans, and they will play ball in the 'Everdome' metaverse, ie they will acquire a piece of land, and establish their presence in the virtual world. And to connect the dots of the whole ecosystem, fighters will be scanned by the Metahero high-resolution 3D scanners and imported to 'Everdome'. Will we see MMA fights in the virtual world? Anything is possible!

One plus One is: much more than 10! 😇

Time will tell what will happen, but am still quite positive about all this. Like I was when I was writing this other post I mentioned at the start of this crap post. Just scroll up and click the embedded link... Owww, you are too lazy? Ok, here is the link again... click me.

Personally, I wonder what will happen with the market value of Tenset token after all subscriptions are sold. Will it collabs? Or will it stay up?

Launching projects is not the only thing that Tenset does. It's in essence an ETF, investing in other projects for profit (currently only crypto, but stocks will be added over time). In addition, it has another type of subscription for which one gets all sorts of tokens airdropped. From projects that are using Tenset as a marketing tool to get to more users and holders. But still, all these services may not hold the token value at 4 USD as the boards tell us these days.

Let's NFT

The Tenset team is thinking about something interesting though. The launchpad subscriptions are not tradeable at the moment. This basically means for new project launches, only the current subscription holders can participate in the presales. No new subscriptions will be floated to the market, making this launchpad a closed community. Though this may not be that bad for the subscription holders, it's not what a free market looks like. Hence the team is playing with the idea to offer the possibility to exchange the subscription for an NFT. This will make subscriptions tradeable through all the usual NFT marketplaces. Some peeps are bashing this idea though. They believe the NFT value will drop tremendously. Again, I have no idea if that will happen, but I like the idea that a Tenset subscription can be traded. Not that I will sell mine any time soon! I would be crazy 😱 doing that!

I suppose we have to wait and see what the next steps are. For now, I see a lot of pretty interesting development for the Tenset project.

Ask 'edje' service is open

I close off this post with a few screenshots from the Tenset website. It's intentional I didn't add any explanations to them. Questions are easy to ask and I promise you I'll answer all of them.

Just scroll up and click the embedded link... Owww, you are too lazy? Ok, here is the link again... click me.

Impressive! How did you know we would be lazy to scroll up? 😂

Just a hunch 🎶 😂

A good one then :D

btw, I opened that post with the first mention of it 😅 but that click me always sounds funnier 😀

'click me' sounded to me more like clicking on something bad, maybe even a scam link hahahahaha cool you took it the positive way :)

click me is the nicest and funniest way of those link shares :))
I am sometimes tempted to use this, but it would be stealing then hahaha

so I just stay with the boring way :D

Stealing? Nooooooooo! That's inspiration applied as input to your creative system with a result you like. it just happens to be the same result that came out of my creative process 😉

ok, we will see how that process will work the next time I would like to use it 😀

Yes, this is not a cheap option in order to learn something new, but everything is known in comparison, perhaps there will be times when it will be a cakewalk for Hive bloggers).
