Este pasado jueves santo salimos en familia de paseo para la playa, es costumbre salir en los días santos para complacer a los niños, nos fuimos a una playa cercana, donde se reúne la familia para pasar el rato. En la playa no habían tantas personas como de costumbre, al parecer el destino de los bañistas el día de hoy fue otro.
This past Holy Thursday we went out as a family to the beach. It's customary to go out on Holy Days to please the children. We went to a nearby beach where the family gathers to hang out. There weren't as many people on the beach as usual; it seems the destination of the bathers today was different.
Nos preparamos para pasar un rato diferente y divertido. Compramos la merienda, refresco y algunos Pepitos. La playa es muy buena y segura para los niños. Llevamos unas sillas para nuestra comodidad, aquí las palmeras son escasas, así que dependemos de los botes para resguardarnos del sol inclemente de estos tiempos, con suerte de que había espacio disponible, ya que en otras ocasiones esto se pone full.
We got ready to have a fun and different time. We bought snacks, a soda, and some Pepitos. The beach is very nice and safe for children. We brought some chairs for our comfort; palm trees are scarce here, so we relied on the boats to protect us from the harsh sun these days. We were lucky there was space available, since other times it gets crowded.
Mis hijos encantados de estar en su lugar preferido, el mar es el encanto de ellos, si fuese por ellos vinieran todos los días. Lo importante es pasarla bien. Mis hijos se encontraron con algunos compañeros de estudios para hacer es este momento mucho mas agradable. Mientras tanto nosostros nos refugiabamos bajo la sombra para observarlos desde la orilla.
My children are delighted to be in their favorite place. The sea is their enchantment. If it were up to them, they would come here every day. The important thing is to have a good time. My children met up with some classmates to make this time even more enjoyable. Meanwhile, we took shelter in the shade to watch them from the shore.
Un poco de protector para evitar que el sol les quemara su cara, en realidad fueron tres horas de estadía en la playa. Ya casi estába cayendo la tarde cuando nos retiramos del lugar. Fue un momento de verdadero disfrute.
A little sunscreen to keep the sun from burning their faces—it was actually a three-hour stay on the beach. It was almost dusk when we left. It was a truly enjoyable moment.
