Saludos gente bonita. Hoy quiero compartir mi recorrido y experiencia con todos vosotros.
En un día donde decidí dar unas caminatas largas en la compañía de mi hijo, dejando que mis pies me llevaran a lugares que quería explorar. Al principio dudé en entrar al lugar, de hecho la entrada no era gratuita, pero miré la cara de mi hijo y no pude decirle que no, al final lo terminamos disfrutando un montón. Tomé muchas pero muchas fotos del Zoológico Las Delicias. Hoy quiero mostrarte unos cuantos nuevos amiguitos que se dejaron fotografiar muy gentilmente, haciendo de nuestra experiencia memorable.

Hello, beautiful people. Today I want to share my journey and experience with all of you.
One day, I decided to go for a long walk with my son, letting my feet take me to places I wanted to explore. At first, I hesitated to enter the place, as admission wasn't free, but I looked at my son's face and couldn't say no. In the end, we ended up enjoying ourselves a lot. I took many, many photos of Las Delicias Zoo. Today I want to show you a few new friends who kindly let me take their picture, making our experience memorable.

El Zoológico las delicias goza de paisajes hermosos tanto naturales como hechos por el hombre, como la gigantesca fuente que muestro, construida con cemento, piedras y los que luego colocaron plantas que con el tiempo cubren la fuente y la decoran con esplendor.
La fuente junto con el clima fresco de la zona, lo hace más digamos "saludable" luego de que sales del centro caótico de la ciudad, respirar aire puro es gratificante.
Más lindo, que los animales están acostumbrados a los humanos, hay guardianes cuidando que las personas nos los maltraten, esta raza de pavo real hembra estaba fuera del corral y a pesar que acababa de comer se acercó a nosotros.
Los cuidadores al momento en que llegamos a las 9 am estaban alimentando a todos los animales, lo que me hizo decir con más certeza: era el momento perfecto. Los animales están bien cuidados y alimentados.

Las Delicias Zoo boasts beautiful natural and man-made landscapes, such as the gigantic fountain shown here, built with cement and stones, which was later planted with vegetation that has grown over time to cover the fountain and decorate it magnificently.
The fountain, together with the cool climate of the area, makes it more "healthy," so to speak, after you leave the chaotic city center. Breathing fresh air is gratifying.
What's even nicer is that the animals are used to humans, and there are guardians making sure that people don't mistreat them. This female peacock was outside the pen, and even though she had just eaten, she approached us.
When we arrived at 9 a.m., the keepers were feeding all the animals, which made me say with more certainty: it was the perfect time. The animals are well cared for and fed.

Pero... ¿Por qué por un momento dudé en entrar? Esto se debió a que hace más de 15 años atrás leí en varios noticieros digitales que el zoológico estaba en condición de abandono y los animales muriendo de hambre, algunas fotos que pusieron no eran aptos para sensibles. Para aquella época no solo pasaban hambre esos lindos animalitos en cautiverio que en tiempos antes fueron rescatados de personas inescrupulosas sino también nosotros estuvimos viviendo un tiempo prolongado de escasez y hambruna. Pensé por un momento que el zoológico seguía en esa condición y que no habría mucho que ver.
En muchas ocasiones lágrimas de alegría corrieron por mis mejillas, mucha gratitud sentí, porque ha sido lenta nuestra recuperación, se siente bien.
Cuando vi el pavo real hembra, me pregunté por el macho, ya saben que es más colorido y rimbombante, luego viré la cara a un arbusto porque algo se movió allí y vi el tono fuerte y a pesar que em costó mucho verlo por mi daltonismo, rápidamente llamé a mi hijo y le dije: ¡Mira! ¿Ese no es un pavo real allí escondido? Mi hijo respondió: - Sí mamá, pero como estaba no podía fotografiarlo ni siquiera yo podía verlo bien y no porque estuviera muy lejos de mí, sino que lo veía mimetizado en el arbusto. Mi hijo me dijo: - ¡Tómale una foto! Y le respondí: - Solo si saliera un poco de allí para que podamos verlo.
Curiosamente el animal salió del arbusto para posar para la foto ¡Guao! eso fue mágico. No quería más, ya era exigir, pero si hubiera mostrado su majestuosa cola abierta creo que hubiera llorado, es muy bello.
Las fotos no están centradas, el animal no sale completo, a mi me costó mucho poder verlo bien entre mi daltonismo. Pero capturé mucho más de lo que esperé, sus ojos mirándome fijo y yo sintiendo gratitud y lindo. Cuando miré a mi hijo, su cara de asombro, era más grande que la mía.
¡Qué bellos recuerdos! Gracias. Cosas que me hacen decir: ¡Estoy en casa!

But... Why did I hesitate to go in for a moment? This was because more than 15 years ago I read in several online news outlets that the zoo was in a state of neglect and the animals were starving to death. Some of the photos they posted were not suitable for sensitive viewers. At that time, not only were those beautiful animals in captivity, which had previously been rescued from unscrupulous people, starving, but we were also experiencing a prolonged period of scarcity and famine. I thought for a moment that the zoo was still in that condition and that there would not be much to see.
On many occasions, tears of joy ran down my cheeks, and I felt a great deal of gratitude because our recovery has been slow, and it feels good.
When I saw the female peacock, I wondered about the male, who, as you know, is more colorful and flamboyant. Then I turned my face toward a bush because something moved there, and I saw the bright color. Even though it was hard for me to see because of my color blindness, I quickly called my son and said, "Look! Isn't that a peacock hiding there?" My son replied, "Yes, Mom, but the way he was, I couldn't photograph him, and I couldn't even see him well, not because he was too far away from me, but because he was camouflaged in the bush. My son said to me, "Take a picture of him!" And I replied, "Only if he comes out a little so we can see him.
Curiously, the animal came out of the bush to pose for the photo. Wow! That was magical. I didn't want to ask for more, that would have been demanding, but if it had shown its majestic tail spread out, I think I would have cried. It's so beautiful.
The photos are not centered, the animal is not completely in the frame, and it was difficult for me to see it clearly because of my color blindness. But I captured much more than I expected, its eyes staring at me and me feeling grateful and beautiful. When I looked at my son, his face of amazement was even greater than mine.

Que lindo lugar nenita, también soy de las que duda en entrar a estos lugares porque considero que es triste ver animales en cautiverio. Me llama la atención que no hay animales grandes, mamíferos y es muy lindo ver aves como los pavos reales bien cuidados, es que su plumaje deja ver que están muy bien en este lugar.

Buen día mi amor, que bien que estés caminando eso mejorará tu ánimo y salud, Hace años que no voy al zoológico antes IVA casi mensual pero estoy secuestrado, tengo casa por cárcel , jaja producto de la inflación y que no escogí una carrera técnica , como por ejemplo mecánico electricista, me dedique por años a la producción de música, hoy día ni la agricultura ni la música son estables. Pero me trajiste buenos recuerdos con tu foto del pavo real, por cierto cuánto vale la entrada?
Que bonito lugar, a pesar de que están en cautiverio se ven bien cuidados, no como loa del zoo de mi país 🥺
