I want to take the opportunity to share with you a polishing project that I carried out in my workplace about 10 days ago, we painted this car, but we had to wait several days for the varnish to cure completely. As I have mentioned in my previous publications, this product has a drying time of 24 hours. That is to say that after that time you can touch the car without any problem but it is also good to let it dry for several days so that it cures completely
Quiero aprovechar la oportunidad para compartir con ustedes un proyecto de pulido que realicé en mi lugar de trabajo hace unos 10 días, pintamos este automóvil, pero tuvimos que esperar varios días para que el barniz se cure por completo. Como mencioné en mis publicaciones anteriores, este producto tiene un tiempo de secado de 24 horas. Es decir, después de ese tiempo, puede tocar el automóvil sin ningún problema, pero también es bueno dejarlo secar durante varios días para que se cure por completo
so this time after the car had already dried for 3 days it was time to start the polishing process to give a better finish to the paint in other words a smoother surface
esta vez, después de que el automóvil ya se hubiera secado durante 3 días, era hora de comenzar el proceso de pulido para dar un mejor acabado a la pintura, en otras palabras, una superficie más lisa
So to start this project, the first thing we did was start sanding the pieces that we had previously repaired and painted with the help of very fine sandpaper
Entonces, para comenzar este proyecto, lo primero que hicimos fue comenzar a lijar las piezas que previamente habíamos reparado y pintado con la ayuda de papel de lija muy fino
this process is of vital importance for the final finish that the Polishing process will have, since it depends on the surface being as smooth as possible
este proceso es de vital importancia para el acabado final que tendrá el proceso de Pulido ya que de esto depende que la superficie quedé lo más lisa posible
in a process that I must carry out with great care since although the sandpaper that I am using is very thin it can also peel the surface that I am sanding in other words I can damage the paint when removing it with the sandpaper
en un proceso que debo llevar a cabo con mucho cuidado ya que aunque el papel de lija que estoy usando es muy delgado, también puede pelar la superficie que estoy lijando, en otras palabras, puedo dañar la pintura al quitarla con el papel de lija
It is for this reason that I am progressing little by little to make sure I do my best
Es por esta razón que estoy progresando poco a poco para asegurarme de hacerlo lo mejor posible
This is what the progress I am making after about 40 minutes looks like, I only need to sand two more pieces and then I will be ready to start polishing the car
Así es como se ve el progreso que estoy logrando al cabo de unos 40 minutos, ya sólo me falta lijar dos piezas más y ahí sí estaré listo para comenzar a pulir el auto
One of the pieces I'm missing is the front door on the left side of the car and after about 20 minutes it was completely sanded
Una de las piezas que me falta es la puerta de entrada en el lado izquierdo del automóvil y después de unos 20 minutos estaba completamente lijada
We are now a little closer to completing the sanding process of this car. Now we only need to sand the rear door. So without wasting time I started sanding and stopped halfway so that the sanding process could be appreciated

Very good friends. Now is the time to start the polishing process and for this I need the help of the polishing machine. As it is a black color, the polishing process is a bit more complicated since I have to apply several additional layers of enamel to further highlight the shine in this paint color
Muy buenos amigos. Ahora es el momento de comenzar el proceso de pulido y para esto necesito la ayuda de la máquina pulidora. Como es un color negro, el proceso de pulido es un poco más complicado ya que tengo que aplicar varias capas adicionales de esmalte para resaltar aún más el brillo en este color de pintura
So after about 10 minutes of starting the Polishing process I could already see a bit of progress

now I am giving it back its original shine but this time it has a very smooth finish
ahora le estoy devolviendo su brillo original pero esta vez tiene un acabado muy suave
In the same way, go through the back of the car and then go forward. So I started polishing the back door from right to left
De la misma manera, pase por la parte trasera del automóvil y luego avance. Entonces comencé a pulir la puerta trasera de derecha a izquierda
after finishing polishing the rear of the vehicle kept moving towards the doors, this is the progress I already had after about 40 minutes had passed

Now I just need to polish the front door on the left side of the car to finish the polishing process of this car. I just need another 15 minutes and I'm done
Ahora solo necesito pulir la puerta delantera en el lado izquierdo del auto para terminar el proceso de pulido de este auto. Solo necesito otros 15 minutos y ya terminé
After that time this is what it looks like when the polishing process is already completed

after this all I have to do is completely wash the car to deliver it impeccable and with this ends today's project
después de esto, todo lo que tengo que hacer es lavar completamente el auto para entregarlo impecable y con esto termina el proyecto de hoy
This is the end result, now if the car is completely ready to be delivered to its owners
Este es el resultado final, ahora si el automóvil está completamente listo para ser entregado a sus propietarios
After that, simply place the car under the roof so it doesn't get dirty while its owners search for it
