Today I wanted to participate in the My Three Favorite Meals Initiative created by @yolimarag, since I found it quite an interesting topic as well as a challenge for me, because of how complicated it is to choose only three meals because as a good food lover I not only like to taste it but also to prepare each of my favorite meals. Trying different ingredients, cooking times, and different sauces. I find it very interesting how we can prepare our own food.
Within this top three I will place three very delicious and practical meals that I love to share at the table with the family, I decided to choose one meal for each meal of the day such as breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Arepas con ensalada de atún
It is an essential part of the Venezuelan culture and for a great reason, it is super good any way you look at it, they are portions that guarantee good nutrition to start the day with the best possible energy, plus it is simply a delight.
Esta comida está compuesta por una ensalada que contiene atún enlatado, tomate, cebolla, pepino, cilantro y todo esto se mezcla con un poco de mayonesa y una pizca de sal. Esta ensalada se utiliza como relleno en las arepas, se puede acompañar con cualquier jugo, pero mi desayuno perfecto es con jugo de naranja.
This meal is composed of a salad that contains canned tuna, tomato, onion, cucumber, cilantro and all this is mixed with a little mayonnaise and a pinch of salt. This salad is used as a filling in arepas, it can be served with any juice, but my perfect breakfast is with orange juice.
Pabellón Venezolano
It is a very delicious typical Venezuelan meal that is composed of three basic components; shredded beef, white rice and beans, without any of them it would not be a pabellón criollo. You can also add slices of fried plantain and some grated cheese to contrast the flavors. It is a rather heavy meal, for this reason it is usually a main dish for lunch.

Pasticho de Berenjena
How not to love this delicious dish, if it has long become a tradition of my mother's to prepare it once a week at home. The best part is the combination of flavors starting with the bechamel sauce, the cheese and the eggplant. I also really like its variants such as baked pasta and meat pasticho. Being a protagonist also in our Christmas dinners.
Uno de los mejores placeres de la vida es comer. No solo nos alimenta sino que también podemos disfrutarlo, más aún si es acompañado de nuestros seres queridos. Se puede convertir en una excusa para una reunión donde compartir y todos cocinar.
One of the best pleasures in life is eating. Not only does it nourish us but we can also enjoy it, even more if it is accompanied by our loved ones. It can become an excuse for a get-together where we can share and cook together.
