¡Hola Chicos!
Hoy quiero mostrarles parte de mis avances en este creativo reto del #inktober. He estado haciendo dibujos sencillos con mi bolígrafo negro sobre pequeñas hojas de papel.
Mi meta es terminar si o si este mes de dibujos diarios. Los años anteriores no he logrado completar ni la mitad de los días y bueno, es algo que me debo para crear en mí un poco más el sentido de compromiso conmigo misma y demostrarme que si puedo.
Por lo mismo no me estoy exigiendo grandes cosas, dibujos con líneas simples en un espacio reducido para facilitar el proceso.
Les voy a contar un poco la historia detrás de cada uno de los dibujos.

Today I want to show you part of my progress in this creative challenge of #inktober. I have been making simple drawings with my black pen on small sheets of paper.
My goal is to finish this month of daily drawings. The previous years I have not managed to complete even half of the days and well, it is something that I owe myself to create in me a little more the sense of commitment to myself and show myself that I can.
For the same reason, I am not demanding great things from myself, drawings with simple lines in a reduced space to facilitate the process.
I'm going to tell you a little about the story behind each of the drawings.
Para el tercer día la palabra era "Vessel", que traducida al español significaba "embarcación", pero mientras buscaba esto me apareció la lista del #inktober en español donde la palabra en cambio era "recipiente". Me sentí más a gusto y comencé a dibujar unos cactus.
El recipiente en este caso sería la maceta donde están contenidas. No sé si este sea el verdadero significado o la mejor representación, pero la cuestión es sentirse cómodo y adaptar la lista a uno mismo.
By the third day the word was 'Vessel', which translated into Spanish means 'boat', but while I was looking for this, the list of #inktober in Spanish appeared where the word instead was 'container'. I felt more comfortable and began to draw some cacti.
The container in this case would be the pot where they are contained. I don't know if this is the true meaning or the best representation, but the point is to feel comfortable and adapt the list to yourself.
Para el cuarto día tenía que dibujar un nudo. Lo primero que vino a mi mente fue hacer algún tipo de nudo en macramé, pues este arte forma parte de mi vida pues soy artesana.
Estuve buscando varios nudos y este me pareció genial para dibujar aunque admito que aún no sé hacerlo 😅. Pero en estos días lo intentaré y ya luego les enseño como hacerlo a ustedes.
By the fourth day he had to draw a knot. The first thing that came to my mind was to make some kind of knot in macramé, because this art is part of my life because I am an artisan.
I was looking for several knots and this one seemed great to draw although I admit that I still do not know how to do it 😅. But these days I will try and then I will teach you how to do it.
Cuervo, bueno estos pequeños pajaritos me generan un poco de miedo. Tienen esa mirada malvada y penetrante y su color no les ayuda mucho tampoco.
La naturaleza es sabía y sabe bien por qué a esos pequeños amigos les tocó ser tan malhumorados. Quise dibujarlo un poco más rechoncho y con un rostro familiar, así que representé a mi esposo versión cuervo obeso.
Raven, well these little birds scare me a little. They have that wicked and piercing look and their color doesn't help them much either.
Nature is wise and knows well why those little friends had to be so moody. I wanted to draw him a little chubby and with a familiar face, so I represented my husband as an obese raven version.
Por último, para el sexto día la palabra era espíritu y aunque estamos cerca a Halloween podría haber dibujado algún fantasma, pero cuando buscaba inspiración me apareció la película del caballo llamado Spirit.
Me pareció genial dibujarlo porque esa es una de las películas favoritas de mi esposo, así que hice la silueta del caballo. Me sorprendí porque es primera vez que dibujo uno y siento que me quedó muy parecido al Spirit, aunque no me atreví a dibujar sus ojos 😂, así se ve genial.
Todos los dibujos los he hecho primero a lápiz y luego he remarcado con el bolígrafo negro, no muestro los pasos porque son bien sencillo así que preferí mostrarles una compilación de varios días.
Finally, for the sixth day the word was spirit and although we are close to Halloween I could have drawn a ghost, but when I was looking for inspiration the movie of the horse called Spirit appeared.
I thought it was cool to draw it because that's one of my husband's favorite movies, so I did the horse silhouette. I was surprised because it is the first time that I draw one and I feel that it was very similar to the Spirit, although I did not dare to draw its eyes 😂, so it looks great.
All the drawings I have done first in pencil and then I have highlighted with the black pen, I do not show the steps because they are very simple so I preferred to show you a compilation of several days.
