Hace 7 exactamente me encontraba escribiéndoles un artículo sobre lo agradecida que estaba con la vida por haber cruzado en mi camino esta maravillosa comunidad de #Hive y por todo lo que había logrado hasta ahora gracias a ella.
Teníamos las 3 comidas diarias en casa y hasta pudimos comprarnos ropa y calzado que tantos nos hacía falta. Antes era prácticamente imposible solventar tales gastos porque la situación del país es tan ruda que: "O comes o cubres los otros gastos que una vida normal requiere (vestimenta, medicina o recreación)". No puedes darte el lujo de hacer ambos al mismo tiempo.
Y es que esta situación nos ha hecho fuertes y hemos sabido llevar la vida de esta manera tan precaria, pero lograr aliviar estar carga y dar un pequeño respiro no nos cae mal de vez en cuando.
Yo había despertado temprano el martes pasado porque no cabía en mi tanta dicha y tenía que gritarlo al mundo. A eso de las 10 de la mañana nuestro Aire acondicionado comenzó a hacer un ruido tan horrible que tuvimos que apagarlo.
Es un aire un poco viejo, pero que funciona muy bien (además es el único que tenemos en casa). Tiene algunas mañas que ya le conocemos y mi esposo pensando que era lo mismo de siempre, lo bajó limpió y acomodó lo que pensaba que podría estar afectando. Al montarlo nuevamente en su sitio, nos llevamos la terrible sorpresa de que seguía sonando mal.
Nos tocó llamar a un técnico, es acá cuando comienza la pesadilla... La unidad del aire (el corazón del aire acondicionado) se había averiado y debíamos enviar a repararla. Para ese momento el hacer todo esto nos iba a costar $40 que suenan fácil, pero reunirlos cuesta muchos.
Yo tenía reunida esa cantidad, ya que días antes había comprado algunos dólares físicos para que nuestro dinero no se devaluara y poder cubrir otros gastos que tenemos pendientes, pero que no son de tanta urgencia. Por supuesto, todo esto era gracias a mi trabajo acá en la plataforma que estaba solventando nuestra situación financiera en gran medida. ♥
Me dolía un poco gastarlo, pero vaya, el dinero se hizo para eso y además agradezco a la vida por darnos la oportunidad de que se presentara este percance y que tuviéramos la manera de responder a él. Difícil fuera que no contásemos con nada...
A los dos días logramos llevar la unidad a reparar, pero al revisarla el técnico nos dijo que el problema era más grave de lo que imaginábamos y que lo más lógico era que compráramos una unidad nueva. Necesitábamos $90, sin contar los gastos de transporte ($10) y la mano de obra del técnico que la instalaría ($25). Todos estos montos expresados en dólares americanos, en un país donde el sueldo mínimo son aproximadamente $0,6. Parece un chiste, pero no lo es.

I had woken up early last Tuesday because there was no room in my happiness and I had to shout it out to the world. At around 10 in the morning our air conditioner started making such a horrible noise that we had to turn it off.
It is a bit old air, but it works very well (it is also the only one we have at home). He has some tricks that we already know him and my husband thinking that it was the same as always, he took it down, cleaned it and arranged what he thought could be affecting. When we put it back on its place, we were terribly surprised that it still sounded bad.
We had to call a technician, this is when the nightmare begins ... The air unit (the heart of the air conditioning) had broken down and we had to send it for repair. By that time doing all of this was going to cost us $ 40, which sounds easy, but collecting them costs a lot.
I had that amount collected, since days before I had bought some physical dollars so that our money would not be devalued and to be able to cover other expenses that we have pending, but that are not of such urgency. Of course, all this was thanks to my work here on the platform that was solving our financial situation to a great extent. ♥
It hurt a bit to spend it, but boy, the money was made for that and I also thank life for giving us the opportunity to present this mishap and that we had a way to respond to it. It would be difficult for us to have nothing ...
Two days later we were able to take the unit in for repair, but when the technician checked it, he told us that the problem was more serious than we imagined and that the most logical thing was that we bought a new unit. We needed $ 90, not counting the transportation costs ($ 10) and the labor of the technician who would install it ($ 25). Reunimos lo que quedaba en nuestra cuenta bancaria, los dólares en efectivo que había comprado, el pago por un logo y un diseño de tarjeta de presentación para una firma contable que también me cancelaban esa misma semana y la familia de mi esposo nos ayudó con el resto.
Es entonces cuando comienza la travesía, pues no solo era reunir el dinero necesario, ahora la cuestión era encontrar la unidad que necesitábamos.
