It's that time of year isn't it? This post reminds me of when I took horticulture in high school. We had several greenhouses and outdoor areas, and there was always something to do. I'm also taken back to the time a few years ago when I walked onto a little boy plucking the leaves off of a small young tree in the park.
I told him that trees help create the oxygen we all need to breathe, and if he removed all of the leaves, the tree would die. He stopped, and hopefully learned something that he will take with him as he grows up. Nature is a beautiful part of this living world.
