Earlier this year, I saw the 2004 Nicolas Cage blockbuster movie "National Treasure" after so long a while and my sister so loved it. It had been on my mind ever since to make a portrait of him but seeing how his face has become scarce in the collection of genres I watch, I always seem to forget.
However, two days ago while surfing for some nice contrasted portraits, I spotted his face amidst some and Baam! I was on my way to making this sketch.
It took a while though, I must confess as I wanted the tones to sit right. I still would love your feedbacks cause I intend making more sketches of his half criminal, half innocent face...... feel free to drop them below...
