Work stress in our couple's life

in GEMS2 years ago

Many times we forget that our problems have an origin, I say this because, sometimes the problems that we externalize in family or couple come from work stress, this if we take into account that with the demands involved in the current lifestyle, stress and depression are some of the most frequent and devastating pathologies, specifically the world of work is one of the main sources of stress and anguish.

We must keep in mind that work is one of the main sources of stress in people. The workload, the feeling of dissatisfaction, the lack of recognition, the short deadlines to deliver the different tasks and schedules can cause an imbalance in the well-being of each individual.

For example, among the aspects that cause us the most stress in our work are strict schedules, dissatisfaction with how we are valued, relationships with colleagues, rivalries, shift changes, exposure to risks, complexity, responsibility, overload, not knowing how to be satisfied with what we have, and endless ambition.

Undoubtedly today both men and women have important work responsibilities, where stress appears as a natural response preparing our body for action, however, at some times, the demand of the task is so high.

And although there is no real remedy to combat work stress and its consequences on our relationship, it is up to us how to react to this situation and what help to seek.
