Thanks for the tip. I ran afoul of the ones in Texas on a trip back there several years ago now. It was after my wife and I flew into Dallas and then rented a car to get around in. In Oregon, you can go a full 10 mph over the limit before an officer might consider pulling you over, but 65 mph is pretty low compared to most of the other western states. I don't know if that's the reason for the leeway or not.
In Idaho, they don't take kindly to more than a mph or two over, but then for most of the southern part of it, you're hitting 80 mph anyway. :)
