Torum is a crypto social media which was lunched last year to connect crypto users and also to be the first platform that will serve as an NFT marketplace, staking platform and a micro blogging site for crypto users.
Currently torum is still in beta stage and the users get to earn from the site through the MISSION REWARDS. Airdrop section was added some weeks ago and so far torum has hosted three airdrops and paid out successfully.
HOW TO GET STARTED!

When registering, please provide your WhatsApp number at the step where they will ask for phone number because you will be required to verify your phone number through WhatsApp.
After successful registeration please follow the steps to verify your phone number and email. You can do that by clicking on your menu bar and head over to settings to complete your verification. When you have any issues verifying your account, please feel free to message @covaruok on telegram and she will help you verify your account as soon as possible.
When you successfully verify your account (that’s both WhatsApp number and email), please click on the menu bar again, choose the logout option and logout your account. After logging out please relog in and now click on menu bar, choose the missions and start claiming them.

After successful registeration and verification, one will have to complete the “power bar” missions before accessing the actual mission reward system.
Please also note that SPAM IS HIGHLY PROHIBITED over there like here, so be very careful when you choose to join. Don’t post one word comment or post, don’t post in the wrong clans for example you are not supposed to post your referral link in crypto news clan, only post crypto news in the crypto news clan.
And also, you can post links to crypto news, or other crypto related stuff on your profile but please make sure you give some information about the link before posting it.
WAYS TO EARN FROM TORUM.
- BY COMPLETING MISSIONS:
The easiest way to earn from torum is just by completing your missions after you have registered an account and verified your email and WhatsApp number.
There are three main missions available currently and these are the DAILY MISSION, WEEKLY MISSION AND ONE TIME MISSION.
A. DAILY MISSIONS:
The daily mission rewards are as follows: 0.5 XTM for logging in, 2 XTM for creating a post, 2 XTM for creating a thread, 0.5 XTM for spreading (sharing) a post or thread on your torum profile and 0.5 XTM for liking 5 posts or threads. Note that all these reset after 24 hours and you can complete them again and in every 24 hours.
B. WEEKLY MISSION:
The weekly mission rewards are also very easy and here they are: 20 XTM for logging in continusly for 7 days ( from Saturday to Friday), and 8 XTM for accumulating 50 followers within the week.
Now, someone might even be thinking, how can one make the 50 followers a week. It’s very easy to achieve that, just post quality posts, be active and people will follow you. Torum also have an algorithm which suggest people you can follow and that algorithm selects the most active people and display.
C. ONE-TIME MISSION:
This is also one of the easiest missions you can keep claiming and boost your XTM earnings. With this, the more you complete them, the more the rewards keep increasing and the more the tasks keep getting more difficult. For instance, when you’re new, the basic one is to follow ten people and claim like 1.5 XTM, after that the next one might be like follow 50 people and in that order.
D. SPECIAL MISSION:
The special mission on torum is the reward you receive after you reffer a new user to torum. Currently you will receive 30 XTM when someone register with your referral link and verify both email and WhatsApp number.
- COMPLETING AIRDROPS.
Like l said in the beginning of my post, torum just integrated the airdrop section just recently and the first four airdrops are completed.
I personally never attempted doing any airdrop for a very long time but gonna start again with those from torum. Why because these days a lot of airdrops are only to exploit either personal data or just waste your time and the reward might just be a shitcoin which is worthless or even nothing in return.
But with those on torum, they’re always verified by the TEAM TORUM before they’re displayed for us to claim.
3.GETTING GIFTS FROM OTHER MEMBERS.
This is also another way one can earn XTM from torum. When you create quality posts, other members that find the post very helpful will gift your post some XTM depending on their spending power.
4.PARTICIPATING IN XTM/NFT GIVEAWAYS AND RAFFLES.
This is quite popular now and a lot of people earn from this except those that don’t like raffles. But for the giveaways, we claim them a lot especially those in NFTs.
NOW, LET’S TALK ABOUT WHAT XTM IS!
Since I started I’ve been mentioning XTM, XTM without saying what it was. Anyways, XTM is the native crypto for torum. Torum currently rewards its users in the form of XTM and of course it can either be earned from the torum currently or bought from exchanges such as 1inch, hotbit, uniswap and xt.com. EXPLAINING SHARDS AND DUSTS.
Oh yeah, these two were confusing me when I joined first but everything became fine as time goes on and I studied their litepaper.
When we talk about SHARDS, they’re received and shown on your profile when you receive gifts from your posts. For instance, when someone gift you 10 XTM (bitcoin pizza), you also receive 10 suards. These will be used as multiplers in the staking when torum launches the staking.
On the other hand, the DUSTS are given when you gift XTM to other members. It’s also proportional to the amount of XTM given and also have same functions as the suards.
SOME ATTITUDES THE TORUM COMMUNITY PROHIBIT.
Members on torum are super supportive and always do their best to educate new members that find their way into torum. But there are still some few spammers who just register to leech XTM and destroy the ecosystem and this the community will never allow.
Anyone that habitually performs the following is always reported and action is always taken to protect the community.
- One word comment or post is considered as spam and it can get your account banned for some days.
- Posting of referral links in multiple/ wrong clans for the purpose of visibility is also considered as spam.
These two are the main ones but some other uncultured behaviors can also get you banned from torum. If you are reported for the first time, your earning ability is always removed for 7 days, second time 14 days and the third time is permanent banning.
I’ve joined torum for about three months and have learnt everything about NFTs from torum. Please this is just my personal review, do some more research and if you are comfortable join us and let’s continue to learn more about crypto currencies.
