In MoonKarts™, speed and skill matter — but so does preparing well before the race even begins. That’s where Presets come in: a smart system that lets drivers save and swap whole kart configurations to match whatever track or competition lies ahead.
What Are Presets?
Simply put, a Preset is a saved setup of everything you need for a race. That includes:
Your driver
The kart you’ll pilot
Tech cards that modify performance
Accessories
And your selected power-ups
What makes Presets powerful is that you can have up to four different configurations ready at any time.
Why Use Them
The beauty of Presets is in how quickly they let you adapt. Before every race, you can pick one of your four saved presets rather than rebuilding your load-out from scratch. This gives you the agility to match your gear to track type (tight turns, long straights, hazards, etc.), competition level, or opponent styles.

How to Create & Manage Presets
Creating them is pretty straightforward: after customizing driver, kart, tech cards, accessories, and power-ups, you save the configuration as one of your four presets. Later, you can edit or update any preset whenever you unlock new items or want to refine a strategy.
Having multiple presets isn’t just about convenience; it’s strategic. Players who anticipate different track challenges or rival setups can jump in with a configuration that’s already tuned for speed, defense, handling, or whatever they need most in that moment. Balanced builds can serve for general use, while specialized presets allow you to lean into niche strategies.
