RE: Selling upvote

in GEMS4 years ago

To post on https://OpenHive.Chat as @klngz user would have to have access to @klngz Private Posting Key. While it's possible that someone gained that access, and post as @klngz is unlikely, so we can assume that @klngz is in fact @klngz.
What kind of account is that you can see looking either at its use profile on hive.blog or peakd.com, or check it on a block explorer: https://hiveblocks.com/@klngz
At the time of writing you can see that this account is 5 days old, 25 reputation (default value that you get at start) and 0 HP Vote Weight, which means that it has zero impact on value of posts.

So that @klngz guy is trying to do "old trick" to present you a wallet of @xpilar, account with over 66,795.242 HPthat indeed have a nice voting impact, but @klngz doesn't have control over that account. @klngz is just a poor, stupid spammer that tries to fool people to send him 40 HIVE.

What you can also see in block explorer is that nobody was that naive to send anything to him, and also, that 4 days ago he made a plagiarized post spotted by @hivewatchers.

We can't get rid of vote selling, but changes that we've made to Hive economics makes it way less profitable.

Scamming people won't be tolerated, he's now banned from https://OpenHive.Chat.
Thank you for letting us know.

Thank you for your action wizard, hopefully the scammers and others have no place on this platform
Hive is alive

There will be all kinds of people here, it's inevitable, but we need to keep users informed so they won't fall for such tricks.
