Punjab Music Industry and My Favorite Artists

Music is a way of arranging the sounds in such a way that they feel us good. The type of music or the way it been represent is all depends on the location and the culture. The music industry in India is billion rupee industry. As per statista.com the music industry is 22 billion Indian rupees at the end of 2022 and was estimated to reach 33 billion rupees by the end of 2025. I am from the Punjab state of India so love the song sin native Punjabi language.

The music is blessing and in many situations it is more effective then the medicine. If I am feeling lonely the music become my friend, just put the head phone and turn on the music player and then just it. If I am feeling sad or feeling frustrated then music helps me to forget about all worries around me.

The Punjabi music industry has many names but I love to mentioned some of them which are my favorite. The Diljit Dosanjh, Sidhu Moose Wala, Jazzy B are three I like the most. One command thing among them is that they all comes form a middle class family and because of their hard work and dedication they are king of their field. The Jazzy B is older among them and I remember that during my collage days I use to play his track on repeat. That was the time when the Internet was not available in such a way it available now. I use to play songs on the cassette or MP3 player.

Jazzy B was born in Nawanshahr distract of Punjab, India. He was moved to Surrey, British Columbia, Canada when he five year old. His first album Gugiyan Da Jora and was released in 1993. Surma, Romeo, Tera Roop was some albums I listen the most.

Diljit Dosanjh is star of today time. All his songs are super hit and make new records. I was in 1st year of my diploma when his first album was released. It was year 2002 and he has completed a long journey in industry. He was born in Jalandhar district of Punjab, India in the year of 1984. He is good actor also and vey famous of his comedy. He give new life to Punjabi film industry also and Jatt & Jullit punjabi movie was super hit. Mostly songs in his film was sung by him only.

Unfortunately the Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu aka Sidhu Moose Wala is not between us. He was great India rapper and singer. He worked mainly in Punjabi language music. Along with singer he was writer also, all his songs were written by him only. Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu was born in the village of Moosa in the Mansa district of Punjab on 11 June 1993. His career was short but he achieved a good name in not only Punjab but also abroad. He is amongst the greatest and most controversial Punjabi artists of all time. His name was on The Guardian in 50 up and coming artists for year 2020. He was the first Punjabi and India singer who performed at Wireless Festival and also won four awards at the Brit Asia TV Music Awards. On 29th May 2022 he was shot dead by unidentified assailants. After wards a Canada-based gangster, active in Punjab, claimed responsibility for the killing. He started his career as writer in year 2017.
