How to solve the overthinking problems?

There are some steps that you can take to help yourself deal with overthinking problems. First, identify the thoughts that are causing you distress and challenge them. Ask yourself if the thoughts are rational and whether they are based on evidence. If they are not, then try to replace them with more positive and realistic thoughts.

Second, practice mindfulness. Mindfulness is a great tool to reduce stress and anxiety. It involves focusing on your thoughts, feelings and actions without judgement or criticism. When you practice mindfulness, you become more aware of the present moment and less caught up in past regrets or future worries.

Third, try to see things differently by looking at them from different angles. For example, if you've been worrying that your partner will stop loving you for no good reason, put yourself in their shoes and think about what they might be thinking or feeling. This way, you're less likely to see things in a self-centered way and worry needlessly.

Fourth, try to find ways of relaxing your mind and body. This could involve things like yoga, meditation, journaling or deep breathing exercises. When your mind and body are relaxed, you're less likely to overthink things.

Last, but not least, talk to someone about your thoughts and worries. It can be really helpful to share your thoughts with someone else and get some outside perspective. Sharing your problems can reduce stress and help you find ways of dealing with them.

I do all of these except relaxing the body and talking my worries with people. (It's very hard to show your vulnerabilites to others.) Actually my overthinking is usually done via thinking about something from a different perspective & trying to be mindful of things...
