The general notion of empowerment is more of internal factors rather than physical factors, although there are specific physical factors that empowers the mind in connection to or they boost what is conceived internally. Empowerment can come in different forms and different ways or by different experiences encountered by an individual. some may include self-awareness where the individual has to find himself appropriately to know where he belongs and where he fits, this has to do with finding one's path in life, setting goals, creating values, understanding your strength and weaknesses in order to be able to navigate through life challenges and difficulties no matter what and finding a positive site to everything.
Like I mentioned in the topic above, for me, I have come to realize that what empowers me to go through live's hurdles and problems is to have a sense of purpose in whatever I am doing. These factor of empowerment has given me a clear purpose on what my goals for Life should be, as human beings we all have a direction in life we are made to achieve a particular set of goals only if you put our mind to it. however this is only achievable when you have the feeling that accomplishment as a necessity then will you find meaning and motivation to achieve this set of goals because they would never come on a platter of gold rather you have to toil and work hard to achieve them. In turn this gives a feeling of accomplishment and a sense of purpose for your life.
I believe I cannot speaker for anyone as everybody is unique in their own way and manner of thinking and living their lives, so I speak for myself when I say that as a Nigerian resilience is our what word and as human beings we strive effortlessly to live a meaningful life that is impactful and it means of inspiration to our fellow people and family. During funerals, we see how people come out to commemorate the Dead and in turn they either speak positive or negative about their achievements when an individual has lived a fulfilled life and has touched his or her community, we conclude that he has lived a life of fulfillment and with the definitely rest in peace but if reverse is the case their legacy would be tarnished almost immediately as though he did not exist.
So in this life an individual must have a sense of purpose that will drive him to success ment of his goals and values that he wishes to accomplish during his lifetime, there are many factors that can instigate an individual to build up and connect with his inner feelings to live a purposeful life some may include generational poverty, indebtedness, family setbacks, challenging experiences, self-reflection and many more. By saying sense of purpose as a way to empower myself is to have the feeling in whatever crisis or reality I find myself to always place my priorities first before I get swayed by frivolities or things that don't matter.
In conclusion, my point is that one thing that can lift the soul and bring about a deep connection with our inner self and mind is the feeling of mindfulness that an individual employs to Foster his or her growth and development in life. People has different ways to empower themselves, one that they find resourceful and effective, so everyone can choose their path.
