Algunas de las vistas más impresionantes de los Pirineos Orientales se pueden obtener desde lo alto del castillo de Queribus. Antiguo castillo roqueño, el último reducto de resistencia del Languedoc frente a la cruzada albigense de los franceses. Una fortaleza imponente, fue diseñada para resistir y así lo ha hecho a lo largo de los siglos en lo alto de su cima, hasta que las amenazas externas desaparecieron y dejó de tener función.
La silueta majestuosa del castillo atrae pronto la atención de los visitantes desde la carretera de acceso. La subida a pie es empinada pero el esfuerzo merece la pena. Allí, en lo alto del su escarpado pico rocoso, la vieja fortaleza nos brinda brinda unas panorámicas espectaculares del paisaje circundante: verdes valles se extienden encajonados entre sierras y colinas ondulantes; los ríos discurren apaciblemente por el fondo, entre vegas y frondosos bosques; aldeas y caseríos de las comunas rurales salpican el paisaje, conectadas por caminos y carreteras sinuosas que serpentean por la región.
Some of the most impressive views of the East Pyrénées can be obtained from the top of the castle of Queribus. An ancient rock castle, the last stronghold of Languedoc's resistance to the French Albigensian crusade. An imposing fortress, it was designed to resist and has done so over the centuries from the top of its cliff, until the external threats disappeared and its function ceased.
The majestic silhouette of the castle soon attracts the attention of visitors from the approach road. The climb on foot is steep but well worth the effort. There, atop its craggy rocky peak, the old fortress affords spectacular views of the surrounding landscape: green valleys stretch between mountain ranges and rolling hills; rivers flow peacefully in the bottom, between meadows and lush forests; villages and hamlets of the rural communes dot the landscape, connected by winding paths and roads that meander through the region.

Hermosas imágenes @iaberius, un lugar imponente y con el cielo despejado, se observa más magno aún. Sería imposible que este lugar no llamara la atención de los visitantes, se logran increíbles imágenes ahí.
