Una casa serrana de las de antaño, de las de piedra, en Tamajón. Abandonada. Las vigas de la techumbre han cedido, y la estructura, semiderruida, del tejado, se hunde. Un ventanuco destartalado airea los recuerdos de quienes una vez habitaron la casa, y los deja expuestos a la intemperie. Vestigios de un pasado que, en realidad, no es tan lejano. Una imagen que es reflejo del éxodo rural. Unos sentimientos que oscilan entre la fascinación por lo decadente y la tristeza. Y la pena. Pena por la pérdida del patrimonio, material o inmaterial, de esa España "vaciada" que se va perdiendo, que se desvanece con el paso del tiempo y la falta de cuidado. Desgastada por el olvido y la pérdida de identidad.
A mountain house of yesteryear, one of those stone ones, in Tamajón. Abandoned. The beams of the roof have given way and its semi-ruined structure is sinking. A dilapidated window opens the memories of those who once lived in the house, leaving them exposed to the elements. Vestiges of a past that, in reality, is not so distant. An image that reflects the rural exodus. Feelings that oscillate between fascination with decadence and sadness. Sadness for the loss of the heritage, tangible or intangible, of that "emptied" Spain that is being lost, that fades with the passage of time and the lack of care. Worn out by oblivion and loss of identity.
