I hope you are well and very happy, as much as I am🤗 🤗
Well, well... Today I wanted to share with you the beginning of another of my projects in which I have been working for two months and the best thing of all is that I am achieving it😭😍🙈. Here I tell you the experience👇🏻.
As I had written in my presentation, I am a musician and language teacher in training; but there is also a bit of numbers in my head that I want to develop as well. I have always been in courses and intensive math because it was difficult for me to understand some content, so sometimes I felt frustrated and depressed🤯.
Ok, I started studying music from a very early age and at the same time, I had an infinite love for languages😍. After my high school graduation, I decided to study languages at the university and since I also have a vocation for teaching, I was admitted to the UPEL, better known as the University of Teachers in Venezuela.
I have approved half of my degree and I would like to continue but due to the Pandemic, the university stopped and they have not made emphasis to continue under the distance and online modality, but classes will resume when you can return to the classrooms💔😔. Well, that discourages me a lot, since I had the illusion of graduating in its respective time (5 years) and I already lost 1 year🙃.
In the month of June, a friend published in his WhatsApp states that there was a census to study at the IUJO, a university institute that is well known in the place where I live and also difficult to enter there because they are very strict.
I encouraged myself to take the census and thought about studying Business Administration, but I also said to myself: Noreliz, those are a lot of numbers and you are not that good! 😳😒. So with some hesitation and some uncertainty, I continue to do the admissions process🤫.
The next, was a presentation recorded not maximum of 2 minutes, where I spent 8 hours recording that video. 8 blessed hours, yes! 😱 😱. The fact of recording makes me very nervous and I even forget what I am going to say or do, it is a block🙈.
Well, after the attempt 6417362 I finally managed to finish the video🎉 and sent it. And two weeks later, they gave the results of the people who were selected.
**AND GUESS WHO WAS LEFT!**
Obviously I🤣😭🤣😭. I was very happy 😍 but WAIT... That was not all. I had to continue with the process:
The introductory...
This one, had a duration of 4 weeks with 2 courses every 2 weeks, that is to say, 2 weeks I saw 2 courses and the following 2 weeks 2 more courses. In which, the teachers sent by mail a guide with activities and every day we had to do them and send them that same day, as if we were in a class. At the same time, with the same emails sent to all participants, a colleague came up with the idea💡 to contact us to create a WhatsApp group so we could get to know each other and obviously help each other in the whole process🙌🏻. This was very funny, because we all introduced ourselves with a picture, our name and age; a few days later we were super friends as if we had known each other for a long time🤣🤭. And regarding the courses, I did stress, cried and even woke up to be able to deliver my activities on time and this was due to the chaotic power and internet failures we suffer in Venezuela🙍🏻♀️.
Well, I finished the whole introductory course and had to wait at least a week for the results...
The day of the results arrived and with much eagerness, I entered the institute's website with my identity card. When it loaded, I got this:
Finally, I am officially a Business Administration student👩🏻💻. A new facet in me and I am willing to continue with my studies in spite of the obstacles, for my future and for the future of a better Venezuela💛💙️❤️.
During this journey, I read these words on the street:
"If it doesn't work out, always change your plans, but don't set your goals. And it is my invitation to everyone, not to abandon their goals for anything in the world in spite of everything that may come your way.
