Hi guys, recently I had very little time to devote to my various hobbies, but I have in mind a lot of projects also concerning Hive that I want to develop and carry on in that little time that remains beyond work. After two weeks, to unplug from all this mess, I wanted to enjoy a beautiful day at the lake, as I used to do in the old days, in one of my favorite places to swim and relax.
Manerba del Garda, hidden wonders.
When I return here my mind is filled with magnificent memories, I remember very well the first time that I discovered this isolated place with my friends, it was a hot summer day, the night before we had organized and attended a party at a famous disco of the place, once the spree was over we went to the beach to recover the strength we needed to face the afternoon. After a few hours of rest our hunger for adventure led us to explore the beach in search of some more isolated place, so we started to follow the coast towards the famous fortress of Manerba and after twenty minutes of travel we came across this "oasis". The fact that it is located just behind a camping for tourists makes access to the place a little difficult to find, but thanks to this reason there are often not many people and therefore you can get comfortable on the "square" that overlooks directly on the lake.
The one in the background is the fortress of Manerba, a beautiful nature reserve with a panoramic view of the lake that makes a good impression even from so far away, I never had the opportunity to visit it entirely, it would be nice to do it one day.
The peculiarity that most attracted us to this place is the old pier, in fact on the last piece there is a ladder that allows you to climb to the top to:
- 1 enjoy the view
- 2 take a dip in the high waters
Whatever your choice, the dive afterwards is a must since going down the steps is more dangerous than diving into the water.
Many people for the holidays opt as a first choice for a beach holiday, but personally I think that the lake has nothing to envy to the mighty marine waters, obviously it always depends on the surrounding place because some beaches at the sea are really unbeatable as hospitality and biodiversity, often on the lake the beaches are made up of stones which makes everything a little more uncomfortable when it comes to sunbathing and lying down but as regards the water I choose a dip in the fresh water a thousand times.
Lake Garda in particular is a destination loved by many tourists, especially Germans, who swarm for these beaches from the beginning of June until the end of September, this time instead the Covid has fooled a bit all, in fact I found the campsites empty, the completely free beaches and a quiet out of the ordinary, on the one hand I'm sorry because most of the people with an on-site activity live on summer tourism and therefore this year they will surely have a lot of problems given the low turnout of people, on the other hand it is nice to be able to fully enjoy a place without having to worry about finding a free place on the beach.
I really hope to be able to visit other places during this problematic summer 2020, there are really many where I would like to return and just as many those that I would like to finally visit, whether they are by the sea at the lake or in the mountains, traveling in this life is one of the most beautiful things you can do for yourself.

Ciao ragazzi, recentemente ho avuto davvero poco tempo da dedicare ai miei vari hobby, ma ho in mente un sacco di progetti riguardanti anche Hive che voglio sviluppare e portare avanti in quel poco tempo che mi rimane al di là del lavoro. Dopo due settimane, per staccare la spina da tutto questo casino, mi sono voluto godere una bella giornata al lago, come facevo ai vecchi tempi, in uno dei miei posti preferiti dove fare il bagno e rilassarmi.
Manerba del Garda, meraviglie nascoste.
Quando ritorno qui la mia mente si riempie di magnifici ricordi, mi ricordo benissimo la prima volta che con i miei amici scoprimmo questo posto isolato, era una calda giornata d'estate, la sera prima avevamo organizzato e partecipato ad una festa presso una nota discoteca del posto, una volta finita la baldoria ci siamo recati in spiaggia per recuperare le forze che ci servivano per affrontare il pomeriggio. Dopo qualche ora di riposo la nostra fame di avventura ci ha portato all'esplorazione della spiaggia in cerca di qualche posto più isolato, così iniziammo a seguire la costa in direzione della famosa rocca di Manerba e dopo una ventina di minuti di tragitto ci imbattemmo in questa "oasi". Il fatto che si trova appena dietro un camping per turisti rende l'accesso al luogo un po'difficile da trovare, ma proprio grazie a questo motivo spesso non c'è molta gente e quindi ci si può mettere comodi sulla "piazza" che affaccia direttamente sul lago.
Quella sulla sfondo è la rocca di Manerba, una bellissima riserva naturale con vista panoramica sul lago che fa la sua bella figura anche da così lontano, non ho mai avuto l'occasione di visitarla interamente, sarebbe bello farlo un giorno.
La peculiarità che più ci ha attratto di questo posto è il vecchio pontile, sull'ultimo pezzo infatti c'è una scaletta che ti permette di arrampicarti fino in cima per:
- 1 goderti la vista
- 2 farti un bel tuffo nelle acque alte
Qualunque sia la tua scelta il tuffo dopo è d'obbligo visto che riscendere per gli scalini e più pericoloso che tuffarsi in acqua.
Tanta gente per le vacanze opta come prima scelta per la vacanza al mare, ma personalmente penso che il lago non abbia nulla da invidiare alle possenti acque marine, ovviamente dipende sempre anche dal luogo circostante perché alcune spiagge al mare sono davvero imbattibili come accoglienza e biodiversità, spesso sul lago invece le spiagge sono costituite da sassi che rende il tutto un po' più scomodo quando si tratta di prendere il sole e sdraiarsi ma per quanto riguarda l'acqua scelgo mille volte un tuffo nelle acque dolci.
Il lago di Garda in particolare è una meta amata da moltissimi turisti, soprattutto Tedeschi, che brulicano per queste spiagge da inizio giugno fino a fine settembre, questa volta invece il Covid ha fregato un po' tutti, infatti ho trovato i camping vuoti, le spiagge completamente libere ed una tranquillità fuori dal normale, da un certo lato mi dispiace perché comunque la maggior parte delle persone con una attivitá sul posto vive di turismo estivo e quindi quest'anno avranno sicuramente un sacco di problemi visto la scarsa affluenza di persone, dall'altro lato è bello potersi godere appieno un posto senza doversi preoccupare di trovare un posto libero in spiaggia.
Spero davvero di riuscire a visitare altri posti durante questa problematica estate 2020, c'è ne sono davvero tanti dove mi piacerebbe tornare e altrettanto numerosi quelli che mi piacerebbe finalmente visitare, che siano al mare al lago o in montagna, viaggiare in questa vita è una delle cose più belle che si possa fare per se stessi.
