Después de pasar un rato explorando la Batería de Fernando VII, decidí salir y bajar a una pequeña playa que queda justo al lado. No sé si tiene nombre, pero a mí me encanta porque siempre está vacía. Es un rincón perfecto para sentarme a respirar aire fresco, dejar que el sonido de las olas me envuelva y simplemente admirar el paisaje.
Desde ahí, una de las vistas que más disfruto es el costado de El Almacén, un centro recreativo y nocturno con paredes que simulan ruinas, dándole un aire de historia y misterio que combina perfectamente con el encanto de Gibara. Y si levanto la vista un poco más allá, en la distancia, se alza la Silla de Gibara, una formación montañosa cuyo perfil asemeja una silla de montar. Es uno de los símbolos más representativos del pueblo, testigo silencioso del paso del tiempo y guardián de tantas historias que han nacido a sus pies.
Me quedé ahí un rato más, dejando que la brisa marina despejara mi mente. Gibara tiene esa magia: te atrapa con su belleza, su tranquilidad y su capacidad de hacerte sentir en casa, incluso cuando solo estás de paso.

After spending some time exploring the Batería de Fernando VII, I decided to leave and go down to a small beach right next to it. I don't know if it has a name, but I love it because it is always empty. It's a perfect spot to sit and breathe fresh air, let the sound of the waves envelop me and just admire the scenery.
From there, one of the views I enjoy the most is the side of El Almacén, a recreational and night center with walls that simulate ruins, giving it an air of history and mystery that combines perfectly with the charm of Gibara. And if I look up a little further, in the distance, rises the Silla de Gibara, a mountainous formation whose profile resembles a saddle. It is one of the most representative symbols of the town, silent witness of the passing of time and guardian of so many stories that have been born at its feet.
I stayed there a while longer, letting the sea breeze clear my mind. Gibara has that magic: it traps you with its beauty, its tranquility and its ability to make you feel at home, even when you are just passing through.
