ESP/ENG [EL SOL SIEMPRE SALE /THE SUN ALWAYS RISES]

in GEMS3 years ago

ENGLISH

Good afternoon hive friends, today was a very nice day. Today I woke up at 6:00 am nervous and happy to finish the surgery clinic, and with them finish the 4th year of medicine.

To go to the hospital I have to walk 2 kilometers to the stop. When I saw the sun coming up, I felt that it was more beautiful than ever.

Waiting for the bus for like 20 min, it didn't happen. I decided to call a colleague who lives on the way to the hospital, I told her that I had run out of transportation. So we agreed to meet in a place and go to the hospital together.

We arrived at the hospital at 7:30. We leave our bags in the residents' room. And we go to the service, where there are only 6 patients, 3 female and 3 male. Each student must take a medical history, with that the responsibility of questioning the patient and presenting the case to the specialist on duty. That is, to know absolutely everything about the patient.

Waiting for the specialist, we all start to practice, and devise possible questions for him to ask us.

The doctor with the last name Arteaga arrives at 9:00 am.

We all nervously put on our gowns and chose our medical history. We start with male patients. He didn't ask us anything. We went to the female patient room, and there was my patient. A 49-year-old woman with breast cancer. With immense hopes to live.

When it was my turn to start defending my case, about 10 people in the room, including residents and 4th and 5th year students. I was so nervous that I had to defend him with my hands back because my hands were shaking a lot. Breathe deeply. And I started.

Everything under control. Dr. Arteaga already knew about my patient's case so I only ask how they went for today.

Already a little calmer after that, we went to the emergency room, there was a patient with an inguinal hernia. At that moment, Dr. Arteaga saw us, and asked the complications of a hernia. I knew all the anatomy of the inguinal canal, the concept of a hernia, the types of hernias, but not the complications ... so I said to the question he asked me: I do not know. That for him was the worst answer I could have given him ... in front of everyone he shouted what because I don't know, it was better if you told me; I do not know. I was very confused because I was sure they were synonymous.

The day went on, we finished our service at 12:00 pm. So my colleagues and I decided to walk through the streets of our town, where we saw that life continues to roll, there is no one to stop it. A bad bad time should not determine a bad day for you. Hours remain to fill that unpleasant memory with many other good memories.
