Greetings. This is my seventh post for this excellent initiative where we share three pictures from our trips. It's a good way to relieve the tensions created by the prolonged quarantine.
Below I share with you my three pictures.
Challenge Day 7
First trip
La Guardia Bay
The first picture I present to you is of La Guardia Bay, on Margarita Island, in the north of Venezuela. La Guardia is a warm water bay, with little waves and whose main attraction is that a small fishing village lives there. In the early hours of the morning it is possible to see the fishermen when they return from their fishing trips. There at the shore it is possible to buy the fresh fish of the day at very accessible prices.
Second trip
Colonia Tovar road
The second picture corresponds to a section of the Colonia Tovar road on the road to La Victoria in the state of Aragua, in north-central Venezuela. It is a road with many curves and steep slopes. In different parts of the road it is possible to stop at some viewpoints where you can enjoy beautiful views of the landscape. It is a very busy ride on weekends.
Third trip
Castle in Margarita Island
The third picture is of a section of the many castles that exist on Margarita Island, in the North of Venezuela. During the colonial period, when the island belonged to the Spanish Empire, many fortified buildings were built to protect against attacks by pirates sailing in the Caribbean Sea.
