2001 came, an impeachment happened towards the incumbent president at that time, which led to another People Power. He just sighed as he is very much alive during the first People Power. He never saw great changes since then.
On September, Mark while watching on his TV, he saw the attack on World Trade Center in New York City which killed thousands of people. He cried upon seeing it on TV. Despite witnessing a number of wars in his lifetime, he believes things has gone worst.
When Mark turned 102, he seemed still strong as he can walk by himself. His relatives are also supportive of him being considered a pillar to their family. He's also still active in helping the community with projects including scholarships which he has launched decades back.
