There is an African proverb that says “if there is no enemy within, the enemy outside can do us no harm”.

Nothing that lives beyond us could ever stop us; but what lives within us sure can. The most paralyzing limitation that we may experience in life will always come from within.
We often let our doubts, fears and negative opinions of ourselves dictate our internal dialogue. That's a thing we need to control from within. More than being important, it is necessary that we keep our self conversation positive.

We have what we’ve created

We don’t have what we deserve, we have what we we’ve created. Our mind is like a large factory where thoughts are formed, ideas are developed and realities are produced.

If you want to break free and start living the life you truly want to live you're going to have to resolve your inner conflict.
The reason you aren't getting ahead in life and aren't doing the things you wish you were doing is in a large part due to your own inner conflicts.

Failure is not about the inability to achieve; it’s about the decision to submit to the struggle. In other words, failure doesn’t happen when we fall; it happens when we surrender to the fall.

You can always tell you have inner conflicts when your CHOICES, DECISIONS and ACTIONS aren't aligned with your GOALS and who you want to be as a person and what you want to achieve. This usually leads to frustration, pain and anger.

Most people say they want a great life, a nice family, a successful career or good profits a business and financial freedom but their choices are never aligned with that goal. Their persistent believe isn't in sync. they are ultimately dealing with inner conflicts and until we resolve them, we will be in no man's land!

Civil War; War Against Oneself

Aside being in some history classes, I have equally witnessed a civil (tribal) war between two main tribes in Kumasi (Ghana) and I could tell that the degree of harm could be higher than even international battles. One of the reasons is that no boundaries are set in civil Wars; unlike in foreign battles where the women and children are spared, civil wars create no refugee camps, it clears off everyone on in its way.
Imagine for a moment, that's exactly what happens when you internally conflict with yourself; you bare harm against yourself through your very own mind!

Decide

The first step to resolving your inner conflicts is to decide what it is you want the most. You need to know in your mind exactly what it is in life or out of a situation you want and only you can come to that conclusion for you by spending quality time with you!

Commit

Once you decide what it's going to be and how it's going to look and who you're going to be. Then you have to commit everything to being the person who can achieve that outcome; we therefore attract what we are! Commit to building the personality that makes CHOICES, DECISIONS and ACTIONS that are in line with your set GOALS and ultimate Dreams. Then be Expectant!

It's imperative to understand that true commitment cuts off other possibilities that might pose distraction, rather it concentrates on what the mind has decided on, with a zoomed -in-focus.
It's high time you resolved your inner conflicts and yes, it's a personal thing; no one else can do it for you but you!
