And then the rain began...

We have had quite a few rainy and stormy days since last week, and this is how it all began...

Before the Storm

I have made these photos during a motorbike ride around town last week.

When I came back home from the ride a thunderstorm began shortly after and it was stormy and rainy until three days ago, when the sun finally won her fight against the clouds.

It was late afternoon and the setting sun has lit the storm clouds beautifully.

By the way, the little black spots in the zoomed images are no dust or sensor spots, but they are birds - many birds enjoyed their afternoon in the sky before they had to hide from the storm 😊

The day before yesterday was the first day on which I could sit on my motorbike again and make a little ride around to see if everything is still okay ... and it was 😉

Storm-Sun

Come and marvel at the sunset!
Lo-a storm is brooding near,-
All the thirsty world imploring,
In a mood akin to fear.

Like a beaker in her fingers
Holds the world the valley high,
Mountain-lipped and cañon-hearted,
To the largess of the sky.

But the sky, capricious ever,
Hides the storm unbroken still;
And the pallid, sun-born nectar
Doth the beaker brimming fill.

See the weirdly golden essence
Lurk along, the shades between,
'Till it drowns and rolls above them
In triumphant glare of sheen.

I have downloaded this Hive logo months ago from a blog I cannot remember. The rest is Photoshop: I have a Photoshop template with the texts and the Hive logo file which I adapt like I need it.

I have watched this cloud formation for quite a while during my ride until I found a good place to take some photos.
I don't mind being in a thunderstorm when I am in a car, but on a motorbike it's rather wet 🤣 but I also like to listen to the storm, thunder and the rain 😄

I don't mind the rain but this week it's really been a pain as it has rained most of the week and always when your busy and are on a schedule but it is what it is and tonight i can relax with a nice red wine and catch up on hive 😊

I envy your rainy weather, here we didn't have proper rain for weeks and it is really too hot for my taste 😫. Yesterday was 37.8C and today 34C.

WOW! Wonderful clouds with gorgeous sunlight! Yeah! It's great that "the sun finally won her fight against the clouds." The clouds are really huge and have amazing shapes.

The scenery of the mountains and the green field is also beautiful. It looks peaceful...

Dramatic in nature, clouds puffed up dancing across the sky menacingly taking charge of everything beneath.

How nature dictates! We only listen when the thunder rolls through the mountains, beating drums echoing off the mountainside, enough to scare the dead awake...

Yeah, and together with her sisters and brothers the cloud brought a lot of rain which didn't stop for a couple of days 😁⛈️

We got to have that rain , i love doing photography work after the rain it's a whole new perspective 😊
