Please come with me and stay tune as I'll be telling you all about how distracted candy could be be when getting obsessed with it.
They was a certain lady by name Mary who lived in our neighborhood, and I observes that she was in love deeply with candy.
Mary got so obsessed with candy and that got the attention of everyone around the neighborhood. She could not do without them, no single day passes without Mary having several packets of candy.
This was too bad for her health and Mary knew this quite well, but couldn't say no to candy. Even when Mary was hungry, she would rather prefer candy to food and be craving for it.
On faithful day, Mary was famished but instead of eating real homemade food, she ate candy countless times without ceasing and the more she ate it, the hungrier she was but she'll keep ignoring this and continued to consume the candies.
After watching her very closely, I noticed that she gradually and continually skipped meals and took a lot of candy instead until she one day she became very ill, at this juncture Mary was admitted in the hospital for a checkup, after several tests was carried out by the doctor, mary was found to be very malnourished, her body lacked a lot of nutrients to keep it functioning and a huge dose of sugar was found in her body system.
This made the doctor to ask Mary the question " what exactly is going on Mary?" And Mary opened up and confessed to the doctor about her obsession candy much more than real homemade foods, the doctor then advice Mary saying "I know you may like candy, but that's not what you need your physical and mental growth, you need and must eat real homemade foods."
After this session, Mary returned back home, took her packets of candy and threw them into the trash can. She began cooking real food from ice to beans to pasta to scrambled eggs and many others delicacies, within few weeks Mary's health was up and bouncing like a new born baby boy.
Now Mary knew that though she may like candy and still occasionally craved it, her body system needed growth and if she will need to focus on eating real homemade foods and not waste her life away on the distraction from candy.
Now that I want to draw down my writing cottons from here, I noticed that Mary's distraction was candy totally different from other people's own distracting objects, but if I may ask, what is your own distraction?
What is that very thing that have taken so much away from you and added nothing useful in return for you? And what strategy have you deployed towards working your way out of the mess, focusing more on the important things of life and cease from being distracted?
