Very good evening friends of the hive, how are you? Here I come to you with another day to day with me being a medical student, yesterday the day was strong and that's why I didn't post to you, but here we go.
Comencé el dia a las 4am, casi siempre debo despertar a esa hora para que me de chance de arreglarme y poder llegar temprano al hospital.
I started the day at 4am, I almost always have to wake up at that time to give me a chance to get ready and be able to get to the hospital early.
Mis amigos y yo llegamos temprano, a eso de las 6:20am, nos arreglamos y preparamos para tomar signos vitales y revisar a todos los pacientes.
My friends and I arrived early, around 6:20am, we got ready and prepared to take vital signs and check on all the patients.
Como era lunes había revista médica, esas revistas casi siempre duran 2 horas o más, dependiendo de la cantidad de pacientes que hayan en piso, los especialistas van paciente por paciente cambiando y poniendo medicamentos, o dando de altas a los que ya están bien.
Since it was Monday there was a medical magazine, these magazines almost always last 2 hours or more, depending on the number of patients on the floor, the specialists go patient by patient changing and giving medications, or discharging those who are already well.
Luego de la revista quedamos cansados, ya que no debemos sentarnos en ningún lado mientras los especialistas pasan la revista.
After the review we are tired, since we do not have to sit anywhere while the specialists pass the review.
Una vez terminada la revista, toca evolucionar, esta vez había 28 pacientes, y dieron de alta a 3, lo bueno es que habíamos varios estudiantes y el trabajo se hacía más rápido.
Once the magazine was finished, it was time to evolve, this time there were 28 patients, and 3 were discharged, the good thing is that there were several students and the work was done faster.
Eran las 3pm y los doctores aún no terminaban de escribir las notas médicas, por ende no nos podíamos ir, me tocó hablar con la doctora porque era muy tarde y luego el trasporte se ponía pesado para poder irnos a nuestras casas.
It was 3pm and the doctors had not yet finished writing the medical notes, therefore we could not leave, I had to talk to the doctor because it was very late and then the transportation became difficult to be able to go home.
En fin, salí del hospital pasé retirando un pedido por MRW, y luego de ahí a mi casa, ya era tarde y estaba lloviendo, y para colmo cuando llegué se fue la luz, otra razón por la cual no postee ayer JAJAJA.
Anyway, I left the hospital and picked up an order through MRW, and then from there to my house, it was already late and it was raining, and to make matters worse, when I arrived the power went out, another reason why I didn't post yesterday HAHAHA.
