El día de hoy quiero compartir con ustedes lo que hago en mi trabajo. Actualmente me dedico al tapizando base camas y también los cabeceros de las bases y en ocasiones salas. A continuación les compartiré las fotografías del paso a paso del tapizado de una base cama especial para niña con cajonera.

Tapizado de Base Cama con Cajonera
Bed Base Upholstery with Drawer
Hoy les compartiré el paso a paso del tapizado de una base cama especial para niña con cajonera, en esta ocasión es una base cama que esta tapizada en cuero fucsia y tiene cajones.
Today I will share the step by step of the upholstery of a special bed base for girl with drawer, this time it is a bed base that is upholstered in fuchsia leather and has drawers.

No son muchos los materiales que se usan para el tapizado de una base cama pero son los suficientes para transformar un armazón de madera en una linda base cama.

There are not many materials that are used for the upholstery of a bed base but they are enough to transform a wooden frame into a beautiful bed base.

Esqueleto Base Cama | Skeleton Bed Base
En esta fotografía vemos los que llamamos en mi trabajo el Esqueleto, que es el armazón en madera que compone la base cama y es lo que luego voy a tapizar. Este esqueleto se diferencia de los demás ya que tiene en uno de sus lados el espacio donde luego ira el cajón de la base cama.
In this photograph we see what we call the Skeleton in my work, which is the wooden frame that makes up the bed base and is what I will later upholster. This skeleton differs from the others in that it has on one of its sides the space where the drawer of the bed base will later go.
Encartonado | Cartoned
Lo primero que hago a la hora de tapizar una base cama es poner el cartón al rededor de lo que llamamos Esqueleto, este proceso lo llamo encartonado del esqueleto y se hace para que cuando ponga el cuero y acolchado no se sientan los espacios que hay entre las tablas.
The first thing I do when upholstering a bed base is to put the cardboard around what we call Skeleton, this process I call cartoning the skeleton and it is done so that when I put the leather and padding it is not feel the spaces between the tables.
Postura Acolchado | Padded Posture
Luego del encartonado el siguiente paso que debo hacer es poner el acolchado de princesas en la parte de la Base cama donde luego de terminada ira el colchón. Este acolchado lo aseguro con grapas a la base luego de templarlo muy bien. En esta base cama debo tener cuidado a la hora de poner el acolchado para que las princesas coincidan con el cielo y los castillos.
After cartoning the next step I must do is put the princess padding on the part of the bed base where after finishing the mattress will go. This padding I secure with staples to the base after tempering it very well. In this bed base I must be careful when putting the padding so that the princesses match the sky and the castles.
Postura de Cuero | Leather Posture
Cuando tengo el acolchado ya instalado en la base cama debo poner el cuero fucsia que será lo que prácticamente termine mi trabajo. Este cuero lo aseguro a la base con grapas y el cuero debe estar bien templado respetando el espacio del cajón.
When I have the padding already installed on the bed base, I must put the fuchsia leather that will practically finish my work. I secure this leather to the base with staples and the leather must be well tempered respecting the space of the drawer.
Postura de Brione y Patas | Brione and Patas Pose
Este es el último paso de la tapizada de la base respecto al esqueleto. En este paso le pongo el Brione que es la tela negra que se ve en la imagen anterior y es la que le da el acabado a la base, como se puede ver en la imagen se debe poner distinto ya que hay que respetar el espacio por donde estará el cajón. Luego con tornillos golosos de pulgada y media para madera aseguro las patas de la base.
This is the last step of the base upholstery with respect to the skeleton. In this step I put the Brione which is the black fabric that is seen in the previous image and is the one that gives the finish to the base, as you can see in the image it should be put differently since you have to respect the space for where will the drawer be. Then I secure the legs of the base with greedy screws of an inch and a half for wood.
Base Cama con Cajón |Bed Base with Drawer
Esta es la base cama con el cajón, el proceso del cajón no lo incluí ya que es el trabajo de otra persona, pero este cajón lleva unos rodachines para poder arrastrarlo por el suelo.
This is the bed base with the drawer, I did not include the drawer process since it is someone else's work, but this drawer has some rollers to be able to drag it on the floor.
Aquí podrás ver la base cama tapizada totalmente terminada, Luego de ponerle el Vinipel y lista para entregar al cliente.
