This weekend I went to dinner with a very good friend of mine El - who is a journalist and publicist here in SA. We went to a new Italian restaurant and had the most delicious pizza and pasta. Alcohol has been banned up until last week so it was quite strange to be allowed to order a gin and tonic.
Today I took my granny for a covid test as she is going in for surgery on Tuesday. We then spent the rest of our time together catching up, having lunch and looking at old photographs and baby pictures of me. Here she is wearing elf ears from Christmas - even at 86, she is still so young at heart
