Los Platos Navideños | Christmas Dishes
Llega la navidad a mi casa y con ella todos los platos navideños. Les cuento que una de las cosas que me encantan es probar los platos típicos navideños de mi región y país.
Conmigo funciona el refrán venezolano: "barriga llena, corazón contento", porque me encanta comer jaja. Así que siempre que llega diciembre pienso en las hallacas, en el pan de jamón, en el pernil, y en el dulce de lechosa con piña. Y también en el ponche de crema, una de mis bebidas favoritas en navidad.

The Venezuelan saying works for me: "full belly, happy heart ", because I love to eat haha. So whenever December arrives I always think of hallacas, ham bread, pernil, and dulce de lechosa with pineapple. And also in the cream punch, one of my favorite drinks at Christmas.
Visitas Familiares | Family Visits
Nada más importante que la familia y no solo en esta época navideña, sino todo el año, sin embargo, en navidad es que mi familia viaja a mi ciudad y nos reunimos todos aquí en la casa materna.
Navidad se convierte en unión, compartir, celebración y ambiente familiar. Es por eso que esta es una de las épocas del año que más me gustan, porque se realiza el reencuentro familiar.

Nada más lindo para mí que ser parte de las tradiciones navideñas de mi región y de mi hogar. Y una de ellas es la preparación de los platos navideños, principalmente el de las hallacas.
Mi familia y yo colocamos música navideña, como las gaitas Zulianas y nos preparamos para realizar las hallacas, mientras tomamos un vaso de ponche de crema.
Lo mismo sucede cuando preparamos el pernil al horno para el 24 y 31 de diciembre.
There is nothing nicer for me than to be part of the Christmas traditions of my region and my home. And one of them is the preparation of Christmas dishes, mainly the hallacas.
My family and I play Christmas music, such as the Zulian bagpipes, and prepare to make the hallacas, while we drink a glass of cream punch.
