Les cuento que tengo tiempo con mi secador, varios años ya, y pues ya está cerca de cumplir su vida útil. Sim embargo, con reparaciones se puede postergar. Y esta vez, empezó a fallar en el enchufe, cada vez que lo conectaba a la corriente, este se calentaba demasiado incluso se derritió en la base, como se muestra en la foto y también me derritió varios tomacorrientes, era un total problema para mí. El daño del secador estaba creando más daños en mi casa. Así que tenía que buscar una solución ya.
I have had my dryer for a long time, several years now, and it is nearing the end of its useful life. However, with repairs it can be postponed. And this time, it started to fail in the plug, every time I connected it to the current, it got too hot and even melted at the base, as shown in the picture and it also melted several outlets, it was a total problem for me. The damage to the dryer was creating more damage to my house. So I had to find a solution now.

Lo primero que me recomendó mi abuelo fue comprar un enchufe macho nuevo, ya que el que tenía el secador estaba ya dañado y derretido. El enchufe viejo ya se había cambiado anteriormente, ese no era el enchufe original del secador. Así que mi mamá compro uno nuevo, que es el que ven en la foto a continuación.
The first thing my grandfather recommended was to buy a new male plug, as the one the dryer had was already damaged and melted. The old plug had already been changed, it was not the original plug of the dryer. So my mom bought a new one, which is the one you see in the picture below.
Luego, desarme con ayuda de un destornillador de estría el enchufe viejo, como ven las plaquitas de metal del negativo y positivo estaban desiguales debido al calor que se generaba allí. Después de desarmar y procedí a pelar los cables.

Mi abuelo me recomendó que empatara los cables del secador con otros que el tiene que el cobre es mucho mas grueso, para evitar que se calentara el secador. Estos cables aguantarían mucho más que los del secador. Así como el es experto, me ayudo a hacer este empate.

Luego, usamos cinta adhesiva eléctrica negra, especial para cables, para proteger los empalmes. y Luego procedimos a instalar el nuevo enchufe. colocando cada cable en su lugar y luego atornillando. ¡Y listo!
Next, we used black electrical tape, special for cables, to protect the splices. and then we proceeded to install the new plug. placing each cable in its place and then screwing it in. And that was it!

Te felicito por enseñarnos algo que es necesario cuando se nos daña algún aparato.Y otra cosa esto deberían enseñarlo en la escuela primaria, con educación para el trabaja.
Así debe ser todos deberíamos manejar estos conocimientos desde la escuela!
