Nothing much has changed since I was last there, happy memories of Peter pans adventure Island as a kid.
If your ever back in Southend, I can recommend a sandwich place called Gino's, (hopefully it's still open) it was on a small side street at the top of the high street on the corner of the old post office, cafe itself was between the old HMV and golden disc if I recall correctly.
They made the best sandwiches, filings were freshly made in store, and bread was excellent.
There also used to be a couple of really cool pubs near the high street, the Sunrooms, and the Alex for the more alternative crowd.
Sorry for the late reply I've been mad busy I agree with you nothing has changed much I use to come here all the time as a child it always felt like it was so far away from London but it's not to far at all especially as I drive so it's not a problem going there anytime we want my kid's have also got the all year round pass it's a lot cheaper than buying a wristband every time we go I will definitely try to check out Gino's next time definitely won't be going to any pubs or bars in South end as I barely drink i might have a little drink once or twice a year
Thanks for stopping by I really appreciate your comment
I hope that you have a wonderful day today and a great week ahead
