Greetings to everyone in this community.
Today I will share a work of mine after playing with shadows. This idea came to me while I was eating and was given a drink in a water bottle. Accidentally, the spoon that I was holding was positioned near the drinking water bottle. From the lights in the restaurant, it turned out to be a shadow on the table that reminded me of a pose of my favorite animated character.
Specifically, Saitama the One Punch Man.
When I get home, I reapply the concept on a piece of paper.
This is the outcome.
This is how it is done. I simply place the bottle near paper and clip the spoon to the label of the bottle. And the shadow that falls on the sheet of paper, I draw according to the Saitama pose.
This is the shape of the bottle and spoon. Since the bottle is transparent, I added a tissue inside so that the shadow that appears looks solid.
It's also not difficult to draw; I just lined the shadow so it looked like Saitama was brandishing his fist.
Although the shadow has been moved, it appears that the lines I drew on the paper still depict the Saitama pose.
So what do you think?
I hope you enjoy this art. Thank you for your appreciation and support. I'll see you soon in next post.
