It's a very valid card:
- Has excellent speed (5)
- Has an ability: Flying
- It has a mana cost that's right for its characteristics (4).
- Has a good ranged attack (2)
- The only weak point is the life points: only 1 life point!
For this reason Spark Pixies is a card that must be protected.
A battle of mine with Spark Pixies
First position
Cerberus has a really low mana cost. In this battle I chose to bet on the amount of cards to be deployed. In fact, with 20 mana available if I put a card such as Goblin Mech I would have only 7 other mana available. I risked because under the rule of the battle Cerberus has lost his healing ability.
Second position
The correct position is second because it is the only position that allows Grumpy Dwarf to attack from a distance. It has a low mana cost (4) and thanks to the summoner Malric Inferno has an excellent attack (3).
Third position
One of the cards that I always try to deploy in battle. It has a mana cost of only 2. But it has a melee attack of 2. I always deploy it in third position and its 4 life points are a good guarantee. Really a great card.
Fourth position
In fourth position I deployed Spark Pixies Level 1 (The protagonist of the contest).
The ideal position is central because it has only 1 life point and must be absolutely protected. It is a very good card as it has an ranged attack of 2 and an above average speed (5).
Fifth position
Sixth position
The most famous and loved chicken of Splinterlands. A very useful card. Deployed in last position allows you to defend the other cards from a first attack from distance.
Summoner
The summoner I have chosen is Malric Inferno. Thanks to his ability, all cards with melee attack get an additional attack point.
Considerations
Why did I win the battle?
I have an advantage both as attack points (+3) and as life points (+2).
Using Goblin Shaman was very important.
Thanks to Goblin Shaman the total life total of my opponent's cards has dropped from 22 to 17.
My opponent loses a card already in the first round.
In fact, Kobold Miner eliminates Fire Beetle immediately.
At that point my opponent's attack goes down again and the battle can only end with my victory.
Honestly, before this contest I never used Spark Pixies because I have better cards to deploy like Fire Beetle and Beetle Queen.
But it's also true that Fire Beetle and Beetle Queen are level 3 and 4 while my Spark Pixies is level 1.
Among the level 1 cards, Spark Pixies is an excellent and useful card.
I really like to participate in this contest and if you are registered in Splinterlands you must absolutely participate too.

Awesome Awesome Awesome!
Dude! I love the new section with the VS and all the stats. I LOVE IT!
And yes, there are other seemingly amazing cards you could easily replace the pixies with... but those speedy little things have their place. 😘
