The creator of "Squid Game" has not received any bonus from Netflix
"Squid Game" is a series released in September that has quickly become a global phenomenon and one of the most popular Netflix series of all time.
This survival thriller, written by Dunk the Yuk and captured by him, focuses on a deadly competition that included 456 people becoming players in children’s games to win the ultimate cash prize.

In a conversation with the creator of the series, Donkey the Hawk, he discovers that the huge success of "Squid Game" did not make him particularly rich.
"I'm not that rich, but I have enough."

And it's not like Netflix is paying me a bonus.
Netflix paid me according to the original contract.
When I was working on the project, the goal was for the series to be ranked number one on the Netflix chart in the US for at least one day.
But in the end it was much more successful and became the most watched show on Netflix ever. It's very surprising.
Despite the continued success of "Squid Game", Dong Hyuk has additional projects and movies he plans to do for Netflix.
Of course, Dong Hyuk admits that the filming of the nine-episode show was so stressful that it took a toll on his mental and physical health (including the loss of six teeth), and he does not seem eager to jump into the second season of the series, but he does not rule out such a future option.
