Hola Hivers, hoy vengo a comentarles un poco sobre el trabajo que hemos venido haciendo. Como muchos de ustedes saben, hay un gran número de venezolanos fuera de nuestro país. Quienes aun estamos acá, día a día tenemos que reinventarnos para sobrellevar esos momentos críticos.

Algunos se dan por vencidos y no encuentran alternativas, otros aprovechamos las oportunidades para ofrecer servicios que han sido abandonados o simplemente no existían.

Para el día de las madres de el año en curso, decidimos ofrecer desayunos a domicilio para llevar un detalle especial a las madres de muchas de esas personas que se encuentran lejos físicamente. Cuando las cosas se hacen bien, los clientes vuelven solos.

Al llegar el día del padre, varias de las personas que nos contactaron volvieron a hacerlo y confiaron en nosotros para llevar la sorpresa a sus padres. Se siente bien, cuando tu trabajo es valorado y mucho mejor cuando llevas ese trocito de felicidad y una parte del afecto de esos hijos que se encuentran lejos de sus padres. Hubo un señor en especial, cuyos hijos se encuentran en Ecuador y Brasil, que se emocionó muchísimo con la sorpresa. Realmente no se lo esperaba. Al hablar con su hija, me comentó que no tenían una buena relación y desde que se fueron del país es primera vez que le hacen un detalle a su padre.

For this year's Mother's Day, we decided to offer breakfast at home to bring a special treat to the mothers of many of these people who are physically far away. When things are done right, the clients come back on their own.

When Father's Day came around, several of the people who contacted us did so again and trusted us to take the surprise to their fathers. It feels good, when your work is valued and much better when you carry that little bit of happiness and a part of the affection of those children who are far away from their parents. There was one man in particular, whose children are in Ecuador and Brazil, who was very moved by the surprise. He really did not expect it. When talking to his daughter, he told me that they did not have a good relationship and since they left the country it is the first time that they do a detail to their father.

El inicio de esos desayunos nos llevó a crear nuevas marcas y ofrecer servicios a la comunidad en general. Hoy día, volvimos a los fogones y estamos vendiendo pastelitos en el mercado de la ciudad. En adición a eso me he ido sumergiendo en el mundo de la repostería y a muchos les ha gustado mi trabajo.

The start of these breakfasts led us to create new brands and offer services to the community in general. Today, we are back in the kitchen and selling pastries in the city market. In addition to that, I have been immersing myself in the world of baking and many have liked my work.

Uno de esos clientes me contactó desde Perú para que le hiciera hoy una torta a su madre por su cumpleaños, la Sra Marynés quería una torta con la inicial de su nombre y logramos complacerla.

One of those clients contacted me from Peru to have a cake made for her mother's birthday today. Mrs Marynés wanted a cake with her name's initial and we managed to please her.

Es muy lindo ver la cara de alegría y las sorpresa al recibir estos pequeños, pero significativos detalles.

It is very nice to see the faces of joy and surprise when receiving these small but significant details.
