Ashooradeh is the only island in the Caspian Sea located near the Bandar Turkaman .To reach Ashooradeh, you must reach the shore of Bandar Turkaman .And from there reach the island by local boats.

To get to this island, we boarded a boat at the same port of Bandar Turkaman and it took about 15 minutes to get to the island from Bandar Turkaman.
The boatmen gave us 2 hours to see the island and return.
The boatmen said: In previous years, Ashooradeh had a population of more than 1,000.
But one year after a massive flood, the islanders decided to leave their homes forever. And few people think about living on the island anymore.This is a small but beautiful island.

The castle is a relic of Russian colonization, which was occupied by them in the 19th century
