¡Hola, amigos! ¿Les gustan los misterios? Hoy les traigo uno muy interesante, les hablaré de la célebre escalera de Loreto. Sigan leyendo y así podrán sacar tus propias conclusiones.
Historia de la escalera
En 1873, las hermanas de Loreto de Nuevo México, mandaron a construir una capilla para su escuela de niñas, que fue consagrada oficialmente cinco años después. No obstante, cuando la construcción estaba casi terminada, el arquitecto a cargo murió repentinamente, y por lo tanto no pudo diseñar la escalera que conducía al entrepiso donde se ubicaría el coro.
Uno de los problemas era que no había espacio suficiente para poner allí una escalera. Las hermanas de la orden de Loreto, buscaron entre los carpinteros de la región, pero ninguno quiso tomar el trabajo, precisamente por su nivel de dificultad. Razón por la cual las hermanas recurrieron a su fe, y rezaron una novena a San José para que él les ayudara a conseguir un carpintero capaz de realizar esa labor.
Justo el día en que las hermanas terminaron de rezar la novena, un hombre canoso, de aspecto sencillo, llegó a la capilla en compañía de un burro, y le aseguró a la madre superiora que él haría la escalera, pero había una condición, quería trabajar solo y no permitiría que lo vieran trabajar. La madre superiora, desconcertada pero agradecida, aceptó, así que le pidió a las otras monjas que no lo molestaran y se marchó para dejarlo trabajar tranquilamente.
Seis meses después, la madre superiora y las hermanas fueron a la capilla para ver si el hombre había terminado su trabajo, y efectivamente comprobaron que así fue. En el interior de la capilla había una preciosa escalera de caracol de dos giros en 360 grados, perfecta para solucionar el problema de falta de espacio. No obstante, el extraño carpintero no estaba por ninguna parte.
Las hermanas querían hallarlo para pagarle por su trabajo y por lo tanto fueron al único almacén de madera del pueblo, para ver si lo encontraban allí, pero tampoco lo encontraron, de modo que preguntaron cuanto debían por los materiales usados en la realización de la escalera, sin embargo, el encargado del almacén les dijo que ese extraño hombre jamás había comprado materiales allí.
Características misteriosas
* Una de las cosas que más desconcierta a todos, es que la escalera no tiene clavos, la madera con que fue construida está cortada y empalmada. Tiene nueve empalmes en el exterior y siete en el interior, todo cuidadosamente encajado con la mayor precisión, algo muy difícil de lograr (por no decir imposible) en 1870.
* La madera utilizada fue de abeto picea, no obstante no había un solo árbol de este tipo en toda la región. Según un estudio realizado por un científico de la marina de USA, esta madera de abeto picea no concuerda con ningún abeto picea conocido por la ciencia.
* No posee eje central, por lo tanto los ingenieros y científicos que han analizado su estructura, no se explican como se mantiene sostenida.
* Tiene 33 escalones (la edad que tenía Jesús cuando fue crucificado)
* Y por último, pero no menos importante, tenemos la identidad de su autor. Nadie supo en ese momento, y mucho menos lo sabe ahora, quien construyó tan magnífica escalera, pues no existen registros de ese hombre que se empeñó en permanecer en el anonimato. Sin embargo, las hermanas de la Orden de Loreto estaban convencidas de que ese misterioso hombre debió haber sido el propio San José.

History of the staircase

One of the problems was that there was not enough space to put a staircase there. The sisters of the Loretto order searched among the carpenters in the region, but none wanted to take on the job, precisely because of its level of difficulty. For this reason, the sisters turned to their faith and prayed a novena to St. Joseph so that he would help them find a carpenter capable of doing the job.
Just the day the sisters finished praying, a gray-haired, plain-looking man arrived at the chapel accompanied by a donkey, and assured the mother superior that he would do the staircase, but there was one condition, he wanted to work alone and would not allow them to see him work. The mother superior, puzzled but grateful, agreed, so she asked the other nuns not to disturb him and left to let him work quietly.
Six months later, the mother superior and the sisters went to the chapel to see if the man had finished his work, and indeed they found that he had. Inside the chapel was a beautiful spiral staircase with two 360-degree turns, perfect for solving the problem of lack of space. However, the strange carpenter was nowhere to be seen.
The sisters wanted to find him to pay him for his work and so they went to the only wood store in town, to see if they could find him there, but they couldn't find him either, so they asked how much they owed for the materials used in the making of the staircase, however, the store manager told them that the strange man had never bought materials there.
Mysterious characteristics
* One of the things that puzzles everyone the most is that the staircase has no nails, the wood with which it was built is cut and spliced. It has nine splices on the outside and seven on the inside, all carefully fitted together with the utmost precision, something very difficult to achieve (not to say impossible) in 1870.
* The wood used was picea spruce, but there was not a single spruce tree in the entire region. According to a study by a U.S. Navy scientist, this picea spruce wood doesn't match any spruce known to science.
* It has no central axis, so engineers and scientists who have analyzed its structure cannot explain how it remains sustained.
* It has 33 stairs (the age Jesus was when he was crucified).
* And last but not least, we have the identity of its author. No one knew at that time, much less knows now, who built such a magnificent staircase, for there are no records of that man who insisted on remaining anonymous. However, the sisters of the Order of Loretto were convinced that this mysterious man must have been St. Joseph himself.

Excelente, habia oido sobre esta escalera, ver la base de la escalera me hace pensar en el acabado de un violin, tal vez este hombre era un luthier, y conocia tecnicas de construcción,completamente distintas a las de la arquitectura. Con respecto a la madera, puede ser que un su taller secreto tuviese madera importada de otros paises, para la elaboración de instrumentos musicales, y fue lo que utilizó. QUien sabe por que decidió irse y no cobrar su trabajo, tal vez lo hizo como una obra de caridad. Esa es la explicación más lógica que se me ocurre, lo otro es que fuese un extraterrestre jajaja. como siempre me encantan tus post, saludos.
Muchas gracias por tu análisis, amigo. Es cierto, a mí también me recuerda un violín, su estilo es muy barroco. Es todo un misterio esto, desde el origen de la madera, hasta la extraña aparición y desaparición del carpintero. Como dije, mi mente está abierta a todo en estos casos, claro que sí, podría haber hasta extraterrestres involucrados o de plano haber sido un milagro.

Tienes toda la razón, hoy en día nada resulta simple, probablemente este misterio tenga una explicación, o tal vez sí, se trate de un milagro, mi mente siempre está abierta a todo en este sentido.
