Aquí te presento 3 curiosidades de este monumento histórico
1.-Muchas películas han sido inspiradas en la historia del Coliseo Romano, entre ellas:
- Cleopatra en el año 1963 de Joseph L. ..
- Calígula en el año 1979 de Tinto Brass
- Gladiador en el año 2000 de Ridley scott
- Espartaco (1960), de Stanley Kubrick, entre otras...
(Te recomiendo Calígula, si quieres saber un poco de la sociedad romana)
2.- Fué escenario para decenas de luchas, espectáculos y sacrificios de personas y animales, donde los gladiadores fueron parte fundamental en los mismo, luchando a sangre fría y de forma violenta, en muchos casos hasta causarle la muerte. Estos gladiadores se creía que en su mayoría eran los que la sociedad no quería, como esclavos, sin papeles o presos.
Inicialmente se pensaba, que solo los hombres eran gladiadores, sin embargo, los últimos estudios que han realizado, han demostrado que también habían mujeres luchadoras, con la misma fuerza.
3.- Al igual, que en la época de Isabel I o del Teatro Griego, en el Coliseo de Roma, existía jerarquía y privilegios a la hora de sentarte a observar el espectáculo, en este caso en particular, mientras más poder y dinero tenías, estarías en los puestos de abajo, más cercano a la contienda, mientras menos dinero poseían, te ubicaban arriba con los esclavos o la gente corriente, teniendo menos visibilidad del mismo

Here I present 3 curiosities of this historical monument

2 .- It was the scene for dozens of fights, shows and sacrifices of people and animals, where gladiators were a fundamental part of them, which fought in cold blood and violently, in many cases until causing Death These gladiators believed that most of them were the ones that society did not want, as slaves, without papers or prisoners.
Initially it was thought that only men were gladiators, however, the latest studies they have done have shown that they also had female fighters, with the same strength.
