Covid19 en las calles de Venezuela
Saludos a todos.
Me encuentro de estreno en esta nueva plataforma y como será de ahora en adelante, compartiré con ustedes un mensaje que acompaño siempre de retratos urbanos tomados por mi, en las calles de mi ciudad.
El mundo entero se encuentra atravesando uno de los eventos más importantes de la historia de la humanidad. Solíamos ver en escenas de películas lo que ahora vemos en la vida real, calles desoladas, equipos sanitarios de seguridad, vestidos con trajes especiales herméticamente cerrados de pie a cabeza, desinfectando áreas urbanas de agentes patógenos mortales y personas que ahora utilizan tapabocas y guantes para hacer las compras.
Esto es lo que sucede ahora, campañas enteras de prevención han de promocionarse en los medios de comunicación y redes sociales, una consigna mundial "quedate en casa" se posicionó en la tendencia de los hashtag y las pantallas de teléfonos, tables y televisor se volvieron el más seguro contacto con el mundo.
Los sistemas se están reajustando, las familias aprendiendo a compartir y los hábitos comenzando a surgir, ejercicios, lectura, cocina y hasta el ambiente, la naturaleza y la vida silvestre han dado que hablar en positivo... Pero, hay daños colaterales que unos sufren más que otros, tras esta cuarentena y son esos los rostros que veo, cuando salgo a la calle.
Definitivamente no todos pueden solo: quedarse en casa, el día a día, especialmente del venezolano es una zozobra, pero ya con esto hemos aprendido a lidiar, en la calle podemos ver gente que carga con sus problemas de la mejor forma que puede y ahora caminan con tapabocas.
Recuerdo haber visto en internet, algunas fotografía de historia documentada cuando grandes pandemias y epidemias afectaron al mundo, como la gripe española, la peste negra o el ébola y en una de estas imágenes, habían dos mujeres caminando con sus largos vestidos de época, sombreros y por supuesto un tapabocas, justo como sucede ahora pero más moderno.
Lo cierto es que de este gran evento no se ha salvado nadie. Es el tiempo que la humanidad necesita para aprender y reajustar sus estilos de vida, sus afectos y su responsabilidad para con el otro, si, con el otro que necesita de la solidaridad y todos podemos brindar.

Covid19 on the streets of Venezuela
Greetings to all.
I am premiere on this new platform and as it will be from now on, I will share with you a message that I always accompany with urban portraits taken by me, in the streets of my city.
The entire world is going through one of the most important events in the history of humanity. We used to see in movie scenes what we now see in real life, desolate streets, safety sanitary teams, dressed in tightly closed special suits from head to toe, disinfecting urban areas of deadly pathogens and people who now wear masks and gloves to do the shopping.
This is what happens now, entire prevention campaigns have to be promoted in the media and social networks, a worldwide slogan "stay home" was positioned in the trend of hashtags and the screens of phones, tables and television became the safest contact with the world.
Systems are readjusting, families learning to share and habits beginning to emerge, exercises, reading, cooking and even the environment, nature and wildlife have had to speak positive ... But, there are collateral damages that some they suffer more than others, after this quarantine and those are the faces that I see, when I go out.
Definitely not everyone can do it alone: staying at home, day to day, especially for Venezuelans, is an anxiety, but with this we have learned to deal, on the street we can see people who carry their problems in the best way they can and now they walk with masks.
I remember seeing on the internet, some photographs of documented history when great pandemics and epidemics affected the world, such as the Spanish flu, the black plague or Ebola and in one of these images, there were two women walking in their long period dresses, hats and of course a face mask, just like now but more modern.
The truth is that no one has been saved from this great event. It is the time that humanity needs to learn and readjust their lifestyles, their affections and their responsibility towards the other, yes, with the other that needs solidarity and we can all offer.
