We all have difficult days when we would just like a little space and time to reflect and breathe.
Pero somos tan tercos y tan fuertes que ni la roca más grande nos puede frenar, porque la vida es una y somos uno con la vida.
Recordamos crecer, pero en el fondo somos unos bebés sin poder aún saber qué nos toca.
Little by little we are learning to stand firm and face everything that makes us fall. But we are so stubborn and so strong that not even the biggest rock can stop us, because life is one and we are one with life. Beautiful things exist and it is worth taking legs to get them and smile so hard that our cachetitos color themselves. We remember to grow and develop, but deep down we are babies without being able to even know what we have to do. We cry, we laugh, we walk, we run, we feel fear ...
...Pero no dejen de ser lo que son, nunca. Solo afróntenlo y siempre tengan presente la amabilidad y la humildad.
...But don't stop being what you are, never. Just face it and always keep kindness and humility in mind.
Hoy comparto con ustedes una de las pequeñas cosas que escribo de vez en cuando, no soy una excelente escritora pero siempre he pensado que, mientras pueda expresarme a través de la escritura, siempre tendré un alma.

No quiero parecer una imitación
No quiero perder mi tiempo
Creyendo en pura limitación
Más allá de lo frío
Más allá de lo oscuro
Creo en mi ser con brío
Y en el camino más duro
Pero qué pesar no tener
Cuando tenía oportunidad
Entonces ahora vienes tú
Diciéndome querer ayudar

No me basta con limosnas
-No- Repito
No me basta con lástimas
No quiero que vuelvas
Y mejor te tragas tus lágrimas
Que hoy soy yo la que decide
Irse, igual que tú, andando
Y aunque mañana me grites
No te escucharé ni aunque estés llorando.
I don't want to look like an imitation
I don't want to waste my time
Believing in sheer limitation
Beyond the cold
Beyond the dark
I believe in my being with vigor
And on the hardest road
But what regret not to have
When i had a chance
So now you come
Telling me want to help

Alms are not enough for me
-No- I repeat
Pity is not enough for me
I don't want you to come back
And you better swallow your tears
That today I am the one who decides
Leave, just like you, walking
And even if you yell at me tomorrow
I will not listen to you even if you are crying.
