My wife's car was being maintained so I dropped off the rest of the family to do shopping and get a haircut today. I didn't want to waste the time I had so I drove to the nearby residential district of Laune to take a few shots. The area is only about 2-3 km from the city center. It was mostly built from the 1940's onwards. The perfect analogue in terms of the age of the buildings and the socio-economic distribution in Tampere is Nekala. The only thing missing is the equivalent of the Nekala light industrial zone. There's even a K-Rauta hardware store in Laune like there is one in Nekala. Those who live in Tampere know what I'm talking about.

Most likely 1950's. But could be late 1940's or early 1960's, too. Has undergone extensive renovations since. The roof has probably been replaced as well as the windows and doors.
It's very difficult to say when this one was built. The windows, doors, the roof, and the siding have all been either replaced or the whole house was built in the 2000's.

This little house must have undergone a total renovation except for the roof. The plinth has been plastered over and painted. The gutters and the downpipes are new. There the plinth has been surrounded by a rubber plate to insulate it from moisture. Probably the whole drainage system around the foundations has been rebuilt.
