Estaba un perro tomando el sol,
disfrutando del clima de hoy,
se acuesta sobre el césped sin complicación
y se contonea con satisfacción.
De un lado a otro se mueve,
como si bailará sobre el césped,
este es un perro alegre
que con el sol bien se siente.
There was a dog basking in the sun,
enjoying today's weather,
he lays down on the grass without complication
and wiggles contentedly.
From side to side it moves,
as if dancing on the grass,
this is a happy dog
that feels good in the sun.
Una nube envidiosa,
se aproxima a la zona,
salta, el sol con sus brazos toma
y se lo lleva con habilidad odiosa.
Él día soleado oscurece,
sin sol la alegría se pierde,
el perro frío siente,
ya no hay color en el ambiente.
An envious cloud,
approaches the area,
jumps, the sun with his arms takes
and carries it away with hateful skill.
The sunny day darkens,
without sun the joy is lost,
the cold dog feels,
there is no more color in the air.
El perro va en busca de un color
y con esmero pinta un sol,
lo sopla con determinación
para que suba y se ubique mejor.
El color al lugar regresa,
el perro nuevamente se recuesta,
disfruta del calor y de la pradera,
él encontró solución a su problema.
The dog goes in search of a color
and painstakingly paints a sun,
blows it with determination
so that it rises and is better placed.
The color returns to the place,
the dog lies down again,
enjoys the warmth and the meadow,
he has found a solution to his problem.
La nube sentada lo observa,
admirada por la habilidad que aquel perro lleva,
él creó un sol de fácil manera
y lo dejó en el cielo para que todos lo vean.
The seated cloud watches him,
admiring the skill that dog carries,
he created a sun in an easy way
and left it in the sky for all to see.
